"As tourists from SoCal, my wife and I are pretty spoiled when it comes to gourmet vegan/vegetarian fare. However, Breads on Oak is legit S Tier. Had the avocado toast--twice--it was the best I've had in my life. But the piece de resistance was the Blue Bayou Burger. That burger was unlike anything else we've ever had. We would have ordered another but they ran out of blue cashew cheese. My spouse and I will be talking about that burger for years to come."

Impressively good for tourists area. I’m not vegan, but I enjoyed the food here.

We got a vegan king cake with almond filling, and it was delicious and worth every penny! View menu

If I lived here, I would be here everyday! Food is delicious, largest assortment of Vegan pastries I've seen — and the food was enjoyed by my non vegan friends too

Wonderful oasis for vegan breakfasts with their take on Louisiana classics, plus some of the lushest looking cakes and beclairs out there. Cold brew coffee was delicious. View menu

Delightful place for vegan breakfast. Stopped in day one for a pastry, which they have more baked goods than pastries and got the blondie brownies. Delicious, went back the next morning for breakfast and got the ham/cheese biscut sandwich and the quiche. I've had vegan before and the others in the group were shocked at how good these were. The service both times were prompt and friendly. I'd keep this on the short list when visiting CBD.
