"Very disappointed and just terrible!! Tried this place on a whim and it ruined our Friday Pizza Night! Pizza was small for a large and the price. Pizza was horribly burnt on the bottom and the unpleasant burnt taste was noticable throughout it. Since the owner likes to accuse others with similar experience as not getting the coal fire concept, I will specify, this is not my first experience with coal fire pizza. I get it just fine but did not get a good one here. I got half soppressata and it tasted horrible! So bad I couldn 't actually even eat it and picking it off did not help, the nasty taste permeated throughout, thoroughly. Not to mention simply asking if it was hot or mild got me an inaccurate lecture on what it was. I have been eating it since before the clerk was born! Sauce did not have a good flavor and there was absolutely nothing authentically Italian about this place despite what they try to portray, including but not limited to NOT one actual Italian cook or worker in sight! This was my first and last time ever eating here. I will brace myself for the owner response somehow justifying this mess of a restaurant, as I see that is a pattern with reviews here. Idk how they think that gives a good look. I run from places where owners do that. If only I had read reviews first! Update: I knew I would get one of these responses! And it literally came through minutes after posting my review! Wow! If it 's not the owner responding to these reviews though, then why does it say owner in parentheses? ?"

The pizza had a cracker-like taste. It was very dry and lacked any significant rise.

You can tell a pizza place is authentic when they don’t have pineapple pizza on the menu.

More than 50 minutes waiting for 1 pizza. terrible service. The place isn't even full. I really don't recommend coming here. View menu

We were waiting for about 45 minutes to eat 1 pizza, we left, the place had 3 more tables waiting even longer than us, the service was disgusting

I have never eaten here before, so I was super excited to find a spot with vegan cheese options for pizza. Sadly I will not be back. My pizza was burnt all over the sides and bottom. The taste of burnt bread was disgusting and upsetting since I paid $18 for a small pizza!

The food is good, but I ordered a spicy chicken pizza and two chicken cutlet sandwiches, and there was no meat at all. The only thing on the pizza was spice—no chicken, no toppings, nothing but plain pizza. I don't mind paying a lot of money, but please add toppings! This was my first time ordering from the Cherry Hill location, and my experience there was much better. View menu

Okay the food was great, (besides very flat pepsi) however the service was awful. One of the items we ordered was never received, we never were asked how things were/did we need anything and at the end we paid with cash and when we received our change we were told “it’s $2 short because we don’t have enough change” ???? how about tell us that and we would have used a card. I don’t think I can come back her based off of this service. Atmosphere overall is not a nice vibe, owner was there and he doesn’t care how things run either. Better service at Treno

After hearing that Bricco was awarded the distinction, by an Italian web site, of having the 29th best pizza in the USA , a friend and myself visited the Westmont Nj location on July 11 2024. It was early afternoon and not very busy.We ordered a large Margarita Pie and an order of chicken wings , to eat in.Service was average and we received our order in about 15 min.The crust was just average although several of my pieces were burnt black on the outside edges but not too badly. The mozzarella and sauce were unremarkable but the distribution of fresh basil leaves was sufficient. I have had much better pies for less money locally. The chicken wings were subpar , small and not very tasty All i...

"Some of these low reviews crack me up lol but maybe they improved because I had a GREAT experience. I am so glad I went. My cousin from Canada will call me up when she is in LA and we get to experience a local (black owned soul food if we can) cuisine together. This time it was flavor table and the food was solid! We were attended to right away and when seated our waiter Willie had all the energy and got our drinks right away. We ordered our food and it didn't take too long but everything was piping hot, I love this. I would prefer fresh hot food vs warm food because I'll just send it back to get heated up. I ordered the wings combo and the peace cobbler French toast. Fire! The wing (asked for them to be fried hard) came out perfect and delicious. Wings were juicy. The peach cobbler sauce was perfect not too sweet and just right to pour over the French toast. I love that it comes in a bowl so I am in control of how I want to dress up my French toast. This is a solid establishment and all the waiters paid attention but wasn't in my face every second which was great. Oh yeah they forgot our waters and Willie was occupied so the gentleman that seated us was right there so I asked him for our water and he was super apologetic and got us 3 waters right away. Lovely service/staff and nice atmosphere. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3"

"Then, one of my co-workers noticed she had been overcharged. The owner claimed it was a system error and asked to speak to her. He explained that the prices had changed a few months ago but expected her to accept the new prices, even though he had given us the old menu with the previous prices displayed. He later adjusted her bill, but I checked my receipt and realized I had been overcharged too. At that point, his attitude worsened. He questioned whether I wanted a refund and insisted that the price was different, but I had not been confrontational at all; I just didn't appreciate being misled about the charges. He threw a bit of a tantrum, and one of my co-workers intervened, saying that his behavior was unacceptable. We stepped outside to wait for our food, which he said would take about 15 minutes. While we were waiting, I could hear him yelling inside the restaurant, clearly agitated about us. When my co-worker finally went back in, we discovered that our food had been sitting by the entrance the entire time. The owner became angry again when she told him he needed to take responsibility and treat customers with respect. He even put his hand near her face and told her to leave. In hindsight, we should have just left and asked for a refund, which we all regretted not doing. Given the pricing and the quality of food we received, it wasn't worth it at all. The service was terrible, and the pricing felt deceptive. I wonder how many other customers have been misled without realizing it—please check your receipts against the menu prices. I cannot recommend this restaurant; while the food itself wasn't bad, for the prices they charge, you'd be better off dining elsewhere."
