"On Saturday, April 8, 2023, my friends and I stopped by. We frequent this establishment often after hiking in the area. We have lunch at Farmhouse 78 and then come nextdoor, to Julian 's. Half of my friends love this place. The other half say it 's overrated. I 'm actually not a pie person, but one of the girls in my hiking group is a Foodie and she has an IG for foodie content. She wanted to try this place; it was her first time. As I was leaving, my brother was holding the door for her because she was the last one picking up her order, and he is a gentleman. I noticed something was going on. There was an older Caucasian lady (staff) telling my brother, you shouldn 't be holding that door open, close it , in a stern tone. My Foodie friend heard and told her, He was just holding the door open for me . The staff member replied back with, Well, we are closing and we don 't want anyone to come in this way ! They held their tongue and just left. We were all in the car when they told the rest of us what happened.As an employee, she should 've just politely apologized or say it differently. My friends just spent over $100 there combined! The attitude was unnecessary. There was a couple on a motorcycle who witnessed it all, and they said, so much for chivalry . My foodie friend immediately deleted all of the content she made videos of to make a reel and give them some extra exposure. My Foodie friend also gave the final verdict on this place, she also felt that this place is over-rated and would not come back, not even if in the area."

"The wife and I drove from Santa Clarita down to Julian for a Destination Wedding and across the street from the Apple Tree Inn we saw Heroes Wood-Fired Pizza. We checked in and crossed over.The food is amazing and fast!!! The wife and I split a Small Caesar(which was well dressed and had real shrewd Parmesan cheese , a plate of fries (HANDCUT!!!! , and the gorgeous Pulled Pork Sandwich. This was plenty for us and very satisfying. Because the Fries were HANDCUT, I was hankering to add Malt Vinegar but none was available. Not their fault at all just my d palette. Fries were perfect. Hot and fresh. The Pulled Pork.....ugh, my words cannot do it Justice. Luckily, I added a photo of it. Definitely get the Apple Coleslaw and put some in the sandwich. I didn't take a picture of it after putting the Slaw in because my hands had sauce and i didn't want to put it down so you're going to have to come up here and see for yourself. WORTH IT!! Staff was super friendly and service was always with a smile with the perfect ambiance inside and in the Patio. Come up here and support these hard working people who take such pride in their restaurant. Thank you for the amazing meal."

"I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for lunch, and it was a fantastic experience! The meal was reasonably priced, falling between $10 and $20 per person, which I found to be a great value for the quality of food. Speaking of the food, I would give it a solid 5 out of 5; it was delicious and exceeded my expectations. The service was also outstanding, earning a perfect score of 5. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the visit even more enjoyable. Finally, the atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful, also deserving a 5. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you're looking for an excellent lunch experience!"

"09/30/2023 Wait was estimated to be 30 minutes, but unfortunately turned into an hour for 4 people. It was very busy, and there was no waitlist available so the owner was mentally taking note of people waiting. She did seat others that arrived later than we did so that was kind of a bummer. I loved the music they were playing. Unfortunately since the place is so tiny we all had to wait outside and it was COLD. 1st Order: 3 tinga enchiladas w beans Rating: 10/10 2nd Order x2: chicken nachos Rating: 9/10 3rd Order: 2 tacos plate Rating: 8.5/10 If I'm being specific, I'd say this place is 4.4/5 If I could give one recommendation, it's to add a waitlist on yelp. I think that would help others get an idea of how long of a wait there is and also for the owner to be more organized. The food came pretty quickly after we ordered and it was amazing as you can tell by the ratings. Overall, worth the wait."

"Apple Alley is bit hard to find. The other apple cafesare right on Main Street and jammed w tourists. This little gem is right in the heart of down town, but down an alley. Look for it, you'll be glad you did.The gal behind he counter was very friendly and helpful. It was the end of the day, and the crew at the most famous pie shop were just past it and could barely take our oder.We had already eaten lunch in another establishment on Main Street when we found Apple Alley. Apple Alley's lunch, for the same price included half a sandwich, cup of soup AND A PIECE OF PIE! Where we had lunch, for the same price as Apple Alley, NO PIE,therefore, much more expensive than Apple Alley.Their pies are delicious. The caramel Apple with pecan is outrageously good.If I could give 4 and a half stars I would. Why? Farmers coffee. But hy! We took ours to go and enjoyed it w espresso, later.Give thm a try."
