"09/30/2023 Wait was estimated to be 30 minutes, but unfortunately turned into an hour for 4 people. It was very busy, and there was no waitlist available so the owner was mentally taking note of people waiting. She did seat others that arrived later than we did so that was kind of a bummer. I loved the music they were playing. Unfortunately since the place is so tiny we all had to wait outside and it was COLD. 1st Order: 3 tinga enchiladas w beans Rating: 10/10 2nd Order x2: chicken nachos Rating: 9/10 3rd Order: 2 tacos plate Rating: 8.5/10 If I'm being specific, I'd say this place is 4.4/5 If I could give one recommendation, it's to add a waitlist on yelp. I think that would help others get an idea of how long of a wait there is and also for the owner to be more organized. The food came pretty quickly after we ordered and it was amazing as you can tell by the ratings. Overall, worth the wait."

We decided to give this place a try and we weren't disappointed. The food was excellent and the service was good. Pictured is the burrito bowl and chicken nachos.

Fast, friendly, delicious, and clean. The food was incredible very flavorful and authentic. Lots of options on the QR code menu. The restaurant was very clean and cozy with nice indoor seating and a large patio. Seating both inside and outside. Bathrooms were available as well. Overall fantastic would come again and refer to freinds. View menu

The hostess was very friendly, this place seems nice. We did takeout for my company. I didn 't finish my burrito because it tasted bad. Unfortunately, my toilet and I became well acquainted later on with frequent visitation to the bathroom throughout the night. The carne asada smelled/tasted weird and I think the meat may have been off .

Wonderfully, cheerful service from the owner herself. She was able to give great suggestions from the menu. Nicely decorated indoors and they have outdoor seating as well. The food was very flavorful! The chips were overdone but the quacomole was excellent. The salads were so colorful and delicious. We all loved our food and had a nice lunch.

This place is outstanding. We usually stop at the Julian Station, load up on Hard Cider and head back. If we go to town. This is where we eat for sure. Picture’s are of the Molcahetes for 2 and its as much a unique experience as it is delicious. Guac is also amazing. Not too much of any one flavor. 10/10.Bit of local lore! This is the same amazing spot that used to be in the Station where the new Julian Hard Cider tasting room is .Extra points for an extra clean changing table ? View menu

Have to agree with others, the margaritas are disappointing. They tasted like water with lime juice. We had to request more syrup and that didn’t help much. No one could taste any alcohol in it and it had zero “buzz” effect, we felt like we were taken advantage of. Three of us tasted them and they would not be something we would get again. Also for the price the enchiladas should come with rice and beans. $7 more for rice and beans is ridiculous. The kids plate was appropriate for the price.

Overall: B Layout decor: ???????? Food quality: ?????? Cleanliness: ?????????? Customer service: ???????? Timeliness: ???????? Bathroom: ?????????? Review: came for dinner while my wife liked hers, my chicken quesadilla was a little lack luster. Chicken was rubbery, like it was over cooked or had been cooked a while ago heated up. Granted, we came in closer to closing time. The decor was nice upbeat. The bathroom is unisex had a modern flair, was quite clean too. Could?ve been a one-off with my dinner as my wife liked hers (didn?t have chicken as the meat). Dunno, but if I did come back I?d order something other than chicken see if the experience is repeated.

"On Saturday, April 8, 2023, my friends and I stopped by. We frequent this establishment often after hiking in the area. We have lunch at Farmhouse 78 and then come nextdoor, to Julian 's. Half of my friends love this place. The other half say it 's overrated. I 'm actually not a pie person, but one of the girls in my hiking group is a Foodie and she has an IG for foodie content. She wanted to try this place; it was her first time. As I was leaving, my brother was holding the door for her because she was the last one picking up her order, and he is a gentleman. I noticed something was going on. There was an older Caucasian lady (staff) telling my brother, you shouldn 't be holding that door open, close it , in a stern tone. My Foodie friend heard and told her, He was just holding the door open for me . The staff member replied back with, Well, we are closing and we don 't want anyone to come in this way ! They held their tongue and just left. We were all in the car when they told the rest of us what happened. As an employee, she should 've just politely apologized or say it differently. My friends just spent over $100 there combined! The attitude was unnecessary. There was a couple on a motorcycle who witnessed it all, and they said, so much for chivalry . My foodie friend immediately deleted all of the content she made videos of to make a reel and give them some extra exposure. My Foodie friend also gave the final verdict on this place, she also felt that this place is over-rated and would not come back, not even if in the area."
