"Wow! The chips were so delicious that I couldn't finish my entire meal, which was basically just more chips. The service was great, and the margaritas were delightfully tart. The dessert was also enjoyable. My brother unexpectedly got a second soda, and after devouring a super burrito, he couldn't stop talking about it for the rest of the evening. The sopaipillas were really good too. We had a blast building towers with the empty soda cans. The cheese nachos with beef and beans were amazing; I made quite a dent in them. The food was fantastic, you little rascal! My uncle kept saying “one more chip” about twenty times. It felt like a top-notch Taco Bell experience. They also had authentic root beer, and honestly, I felt like I needed a candy cigarette after that meal!"

"We had an odd experience here. The food was adequate and served quickly. The problem was the person working the cash register. We paid cash. The receipt we were given showed it was a cash sale, but the bill added on a surcharge for using a credit card. That would have been no problem. Mistakes happen. But when I pointed it out to the person at the register, she first played dumb and then said I would have to talk to someone else who never showed up. It was an insignificant amount of money but a significant example of bad and indifferent customer service. The original Willie is long gone, and we miss him."

"We celebrated our 45th anniversary at Brett?s on August 6, 2022. My wife had her favorite entree, lobster tail with mixed vegetables and rice pilaf. The lobster was cooked to perfection and included drawn butter with lemon. I had Brett?s pankochicken with a green chili sauce, mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the green chilisauce was wonderful. I enjoyed the house Cabernet with my meal and it was very nice. Brett?s is a high-end restaurant that canserve children as well as adults. You won?t walk away hungry but you will want to come back soon!"

"With so many options for dining in Red River, we chose Old Tymers Cafe during our stop. It is a blip in the road for us and next time we'll try another establishment. The wait staff didn't seem like they wanted to work, so sorry life is tough isn't it. This seems to be a problem everywhere we travel. Restaurants can't find enough people willing to work with a smile. There was one of 3 waitresses whom we wish we had, she knew how to do it, but the other two were may I say in a bad mood. The food was OK, nothing to go back for but it was fine. In today's culture plus our run away inflation, we all have to be smart about where we spend our money. My only hope is that the manager and/or owner wasn't working while we were there. If they were, shame on them."

"Unfortunately, the negatives of our experience overshadowed the positives. We were told there would be a 20-25 minute wait, but ended up waiting over an hour without any apologies for the delay. When I inquired about the wait after 45 minutes, I was made to feel like a bother. My spaghetti with meatballs had too much watery pasta, a thin layer of sauce, and only two small meatballs. I have had better spaghetti and meatballs at Olive Garden for a lower price. Overall, the food was just average and it has been consistently so over the years. While I prefer to support local businesses and refrain from negative reviews, this restaurant is simply not the right fit for us."
