"We’ve come to CBC for years, since soon after they opened. I’m glad to see they’re doing well, but it’s lost its magic for me. I’ve never been a huge fan of their beers, but I could always depend on a cider or even a liquor slushy. But they stopped having any variety of ciders- it’s always plain apple or mango now, and that’s it. Maybe they weren’t selling enough to justify the specialty flavors? But the thing that really made us stop coming was when they moved the kitchen inside. The portions got smaller but the prices went up. The volume inside was always an issue too- there’s nothing to absorb any sound and so if there are kids running around squealing, or barking dogs (thankfully they recently made the rule that dogs can’t be inside the taproom anymore), you’d end up leaving with a headache. Again I’m glad they’re doing well, I love supporting local businesses. But I personally prefer High Branch next door."
