"Love this place I've been coming here for years. Some of the food is incredibly spicy and the honey lemon tea is fantastic for these cold New York winters. Their outdoor seating overlooks the courtelyou road Q station and I love sitting there during rainy days and just enjoying the ambiance. This place is CASH ONLY so please remember that before you go. There is an atm next door as well as across the street at the Walgreens/DuaneRead but it's a $3 ATM fee yuck. The food right after the pandemic got a little bland but it seems that thing are back to their great flavor! This is considered a neighborhood establishment so if you come to the courtelyou Rd area pay them homage and have some great food! Love the devil momo and all the curries!"

I thought the food was bland and lacking flavor. Edible, but I did not enjoy it. Will not be back.

Love the food here! My favorite apps are the mung bean and the curried potatoes. The then thuk soup noodles are also great especially for a cold winter day. Shrimp curry is slightly sweet and spicy, it's also good. The honey ginger tea was soothing. My 2 year old kid liked the garlic noodles even tho it had a bit of a numbing spice. I had to take it away from him cuz his face was getting red.

Truly delicious and light dishes that are perfectly seasoned and well-portioned. We had the vegan momos and veggie thaldi, then it was a mango lassi and chai tea, perfect for two adults. The servers were attentive and swift, with charm and sincerity. The train station is next door so it can get loud, and the space is a bit narrow but the decor and cleanliness are top notch and the food is not to be missed. We’ll be back to try the soups!! They looked wonderful.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
