"We sampled many dishes and unfortunately most did not hit the mark. The Santa Fe chicken pizza arrived cold and was stale, bland and uninspiring. The avocado egg roles were quite tasty but full of more cheese than avocado, which was surprising. Pretty unhealthy but good. The Banh Mi bowl was pretty fresh but the sauce was pretty spicy and could have had more avocado for my tastes. The salmon was one item we tried that was delicious, however it was full of bones. Very surprising from a well respected place like this. The Sichuan dumplings were actually good as well. The only item with no problems and well-liked by all. Overall the cpk failed to live up to its reputation and I cannot recommend it."

I can't believe how disappointing this dining experience was. First, they served my hot water in a chipped cup. Second, they didn't offer fresh cheese after delivering the pizza and pasta. And third, they couldn't even remove the black pepper from the dishes?

Waited over 45 minutes for my child's meal. Spent about $22 for grilled chicken with broccolini, chocolate milk, cup of fruit, cup of tomato soup. They told me they got the order wrong and made fried chicken instead of grilled chicken. They forgot thebread for the tomato soup. They completely forgot the utensils! When I got back to the car, found the chicken was burnt! That'sit...back to Nordstrom for a decent meal for my kid!

We ordered pizza from California Pizza Kitchen through Door Dash the pizza was completely burned on the top. Some of the toppings were incinerated. We spoke to the associate a manager who barely offered an apology and said if we brought it in theycould exchange it for a new one or we could try to apply for a refund through Door Dash. They could not explain why theydelivered a burned pizza to a customer, only stating, mistakes happen. View menu

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff, particularly one man, was quite rude and exhibited poor customer service. They didn't have garlic oil bread available and didn't seem willing to take our order correctly. When we inquired about dessert after finishing our meal, we were told it wasn't possible to get any. Overall, it was a frustrating experience. However, I did ask another server for assistance, and Daniel was extremely helpful—he took good care of us and ensured our food was served properly.

I recently dined at California Pizza Kitchen for the first time, eager to enjoy a satisfying meal. Considering the restaurant's name, I expected a pizza crust with more substance. Whoever chose the name might want to rethink it. When I'm in the mood for pizza again, my go-to will be Golden Boy Pizza in Burlingame on Rollins Road, followed by Round Table Pizza, especially paired with their thick blue cheese salad. While I appreciate the concept behind California Pizza Kitchen's menu, the pizza itself left me feeling disappointed. It makes me wonder what the owner had in mind when naming the restaurant.

This CPK is located inside Hillsdale Mall and has a capacity to seat around 50 people. The staff is helpful and they have a very helpful guide on their menu that leads you to their website in case you have food preferences (allergies/ vegan/ glutenfree, etc. . We ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower Wings, the California Veggie Pizza, and 2 drinks: Peach Lemonade CucumberReviver. The food was good quality tasted good, although the portions were small for the price. This is an easy place torecommend to someone looking for fresh Italian(ish fair for lunch/ dinner. Bonus: They also serve free bread as a part of themeal which is always great to see. View menu

"Curry Hyuga had long been on my culinary radar, and today, I finally had the chance to experience it. The occasion arose as I needed to pick up my partner at SFO later, and given the mere 10-minute drive from the restaurant to the airport, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to satiate my appetite and make the most of my time, rather than aimlessly circling around the airport. Conveniently, there are numerous public parking lots scattered throughout the town. The restaurant opens its doors at 11:30 am, and I arrived promptly at 11:25 am, only to find a queue already forming outside, as depicted in the photo. The attentive server, Yuki promptly greeted each customer and kept my water glasses filled, setting a positive tone for the dining experience.Opting for their Signature Curry Rice Entree, which features their caramelized onion curry accompanied by shredded cabbage, creamy potato salad, and Fukujin pickles, I decided to elevate my meal by adding Chicken Cutlet Katsu Curry with Chicken Karaage as additional toppings. To my amazement, my order was delivered to my table in a mere 3 minutes, which left me thoroughly impressed. Curry Hyuga's standout feature is their incredibly tender meat, perfectly complemented by their mouthwatering curry—a true masterpiece with Kanazawa-style sweetness and richness that sets it apart. To further customize your dish, they offer a selection of five different spices: Ichimi Togarashi, Jalapeno Pepper, Pequin Pepper, Wiri Wiri Pepper, and Orange Habanero. I had the pleasure of sampling all of them, and personally, I found the Wiri Wiri Pepper and Orange Habanero powder to be standout choices. Their spiciness elevated the curry to a whole new level, complemented by the unique fragrance of the peppers."
