"This was our first visit to Campo Sparks. Overall it was good, particularly the food. The service was fine until the end of the meal. Our server asked if we wanted dessert before we were done eating. She also cleared the plates, including mine which I was still working on, while one of our party was still eating. She even brought the check before he was finished. I may have wanted dessert or coffee, but feel it would have been impolite to order before everyone at the table finished their meals. This was a Saturday lunchtime so it wasn’t even as if people were waiting for tables. I live in Europe where one is never rushed, so maybe I am being overly critical, but it bothered me, and makes it unlikely that I’d go to Campo again."

The waitress was gone for at least 1/2 hour outside chatting while our drinks ran empty. The menu was dirty and stained. The website menu was not the same one they offered . The food took an hour to come out and it was not that busy at all.

The food and service was very good. Our server had a very bubbly and friendly attitude. With a little more experience she will be excellent. We had the Chef’s tasting menu. The food was very good. The best dish was the peach bruschetta. I would eat that for every meal every day and I hate peaches. The rest of the meal was okay to good. I would definitely go back.

The food was okay, but had some problems. The ambiance wasn’t great, it was either a sports bar or shelves of wine. The wait staff stand was right up against our table so they were always with us. Then the sun was setting through the window and glaring off the table and another patron finally got up and put the window shade down. We were there for a birthday dinner for my wife. They sat us in the bar area when they had room in what I would describe as the actual restaurant. No refills not even once asked. We were not even approached by our server for drinks for a very long time. The food was ok. Steak was a little too fatty. No happy birthday song. The menus are filthy and stained. We were actually able to decide what to eat before they even brought us water because it took so long to get them to approach us. The water container was covered in spots , I did not drink any of it.

Never know what I'm going to get. Service is normally bad but once in awhile it good. Food is normally good but occasionally not up to par. I usually order to bee sting pizza or the chicken caesar salad. Not very consistent in how it's made. Not a lot of choices in Sparks. If they could get better servers, would be much better. Most of the time I only see the server once when they take my order. If I want another drink, I have to hunt them down. One time I asked the bartender and she said she was not my server. Say what? This is why this place gets such bad reviews.
