Carbone Coal Fired Pizza Westwood

Gave it a try and sorry I did. Tasteless like card board. Frozen pizza from grocery store tastes better. Wont be back.

This was our first time at this restaurant, but I'm sure we will return. The pizzas were delicious, and the dessert pizza was amazing. Great job, keep up the good work!

This is a new restaurant in the area. I am visiting from another country and had higher expectations. Ingredients were fresh and service was attentive. Prices were high in my opinion and I would hope that if this restaurant is to survive it will need to offer specials.

We got our table immediately upon arrival. First time booking on OpenTable and not our last! The restaurant service was fantastic! Recommendations for both beer and pizza. Server obviously loves their job! It was moderately busy but not noisy which was great after a long work week! We would heartily recommend this Carbone's location.

My husband, myself and a friend arrived late for a special celebration (most guests had finished eating). The staff truly went out of their way to ensure that we were served in a very timely fashion. Nice to see a new restaurant in Westwood where good dining can be a little limited. We had the coal fires pizza, which was very good. $25 for a 16" thin crust specialty pizza. Two pounds of wings for $20. Pricing is a little high but the food was very good. Ambiance is ok in a large single dining room / bar. Place was full on a Friday night so it seems to be a popular spot. Yes, we will be back.

Stayed at the Clarion Hotel for my daughters birthday. Had a great time at the Clarion and the Clarion had Carbone listed in their books, so we assumed would be great - boy were we wrong. Ordered 2 pizza's to be delivered to the hotel (for two adults and 4 kids). None of us could even take a second bite of 1 slice of pizza (what a waste of food and money). Had to then do another for the kids as they still didn't eat and ordered from Domino's (as we knew the kids would eat) Called Carbonne's to let them know (could have been an off day or new employee) The girl that answered the phone was very apologetic and promised that someone would get back to me but no phone call or email. This restaurant is located in a strip mall in the Westwood area of Winnipeg. The interior is quite spartan, reflecting a "sports bar" atmosphere. However, it is for the food that one comes here. The main attraction is the coal-fired oven baked pizza. There are various fixed topping pizzas on the menu. But, the real fun is in creating your own pizza from the large and varied selection of toppings. Examples are goat cheese, feta cheese, fresh basil, roasted garlic, roasted red peppers, and prosciutto ham, to name just a few. Also on the menu are antipasti, wings, panini and desserts.
