Carvel Ice Cream Bakery

I ordered a chocolate ice cream sundae, but I was served vanilla instead. Despite that mix-up, I still had a pleasant experience.

The website indicates that the restaurant closes at 10 PM, but they had already locked their doors by 9 PM. I've had consistently negative experiences here. The service is terrible. I suggest checking out New City instead; it's much better.

I ordered a large cup of Brookie ice cream but ended up with chocolate chip cookie dough instead. While it's not bad, I was really looking forward to the flavor I chose. That being said, the ice cream isn't my favorite, but my son seems to enjoy it. View menu

Carvel Ice Cream Bakery was a disappointing experience. The menu promised much, but one scoop of ice cream barely amounted to a teaspoon, and my shake tasted like watered-down milk with a touch of Quick. Overall, it was watery and unpleasant. I would definitely recommend staying away.

Go to Hoyers. I went for my last time tonight. Ordered a large cup and there was just enough to fill a small cup in there. Hey ALWAYS go around the the walls of the cup and leave the middle hollow. Tonight, the ice cream wasn't even above the rim. Theygive you a domed lid, no need here. Just use a flat one. They should be ashamed. Too bad I can?t leave a zero.

Avoid Carvel Ice Cream Bakery. I visited for the last time tonight. I ordered a large cup, but it only contained enough ice cream to fill a small cup. They always leave the middle hollow around the edges of the cup. Tonight, the ice cream didn’t even reach the rim. They gave me a domed lid, which was unnecessary— a flat lid would have sufficed. Have been coming here for over 20 years and tonight just had a horrible experience but usually when the owner is around it?s a bad one. Ordered lg. hot fudge sundae whip cream no cherry and the kid made an honest mistake and did the opposite. Added the cherries and no whip cream.
