"Came with 3 girlfriends and absolutely loved it. Gorgeous interior and delicious food. Was hard to make decisions because everything looked delicious and unique, especially the cocktails. Ultimately opted for the ceviche, corn donuts (which you dip in queso!!! , shrimp appetizer, paella, and short rib, all of which we shared. The paella was a favorite and the short rib was delicious and certainly enough to share. I got the purple banana cocktail, which I loved and it wasn’t too banana flavored a … – show"

Very chill brunch spot. Generally pretty quiet if you get there early. Pretty much everything I've eaten has been fantastic.

The Venezuelan flan was KILLER, I’m always on the hunt for a flan like this and this place has it. Lots of gluten free and vegan options

I was expecting more from this place. Food presentation is great, but the flavor is lacking. My group was 4ppl and everyone agreed the appetizers out shined the entrees. The atmosphere is loud and you have to shout to hear the person next to you.

tried this place for the first time yesterday. we ordered the lentil soup, maitake mushroom entree brisket/rice/beans skillet. overall, the flavors were on point. im deducting a star because everything was cold. from the soup to the skillet. kind of comical because the served the skillet with a protective rubber handle. will go back and give it another chance. This was my first time trying Venezuelan food. I love a spicy cocktail and their Peligreso hit the spot. I love when a place has small menus. They have a variety of items on their menu without being overwhelming. A good balance of items for everyone including VEGANS. The scallops were amazing and perfectly cooked. Casa Ora definitely has some of the best Yuca fries. The decor also a great plus point.

I’m not one to write restaurant reviews but when I drop $250 for two people in a Michelin Star restaurant and don’t enjoy the food I feel compelled. The bread roll with ham, cheese, peas and raisins was undercooked and had the appearance and unfortunately the very reminiscent taste of a hot pocket. It was just ok. Next we had a cross between an American potato and chicken salad minus flavor. It literally tasted like nothing. I was forced to ask for salt and pepper. Next was a fancy pork tamal … – show

I almost don’t want to share how good this place is! As a vegetarian I felt like my options were plentiful and received equally thought and care into creating the dishes. For appetizers we had the empanadas (beef, chicken, black beans and cheese , the Cachapitas (A MUST HAVE! . For the entree we had the Pollo (the chicken was tender and moist, while the rice was buttery smooth with an explosion of Spanish flavors , the mushroom dish (the flavors were complex and earthy, very filling; it was my fa … – show View menu

Excellent!! I cannot stop thinking about their great food/cocktails, friendly service and beautiful interior. Casa Ora was on our list while we visited NYC for a weekend in January for our 10 yrs anniversary. We did some high end restaurants but Casa Ora is among those that warms your heart! We came for 1pm and selected from their brunch menu. From Arepitas, Hallaca and Ceviche I didn’t have my favourite, everything was sooo delicious, my husband really loved their Hallaca — tamales. The cocktai … – show

This review is solely for those hosting an event! I have been to Casa Ora quite a few times. I live in the area. The service and food has always been on point. However, just a few days I hosted a birthday here and went through their event coordinator, so it was a private event with 24 guests and it was a terrible experience. They mislead me to think the brunch was family style when really only the apps were, they had promised me the private library space which is what I wanted initially even tho … – show
