"I'm sorry to share that our experience was disappointing. We came in with high expectations. The foie gras looked fantastic, but it felt more like soup in our mouths. My husband's bronzino was disappointingly small, almost resembling a sardine. The pot de crème was both too bitter and overly sweet, with a hard texture. The marshmallows on top seemed unnecessary. On a positive note, the bread was quite good. The restaurant itself is beautiful, but the tile floor combined with a lack of acoustic treatment on the ceiling made the noise level quite high."

Good for business lunch. Waiter rushed the bill without asking about dessert or coffee.

The Cote d’beuoff was very good. Service was a bit spotty. The other dishes that my guests had were just ok. View menu

We decided to spend a few extra hours downtown before heading home after work, and were thrilled to grab a table at Chez Hugo. Delicious dinner!

An eloquent dining experience. Food portions are adequate unless you expect to take home leftovers we're taking about quality not quantity here, folks. Ask to be seated next to the open kitchen to experience a epicurean ballet! Service was timely and not overbearing. Coming back next time we are in Baltimore, for sure.

I'm sorry to say we had a disappointing experience. We came in with high hopes. The foie gras looked incredible but had an undesirable taste. My friend’s bronzino was so small it resembled a sardine. The pot de crème was both bitter and overly sweet, with a hard texture. The marshmallows on the upper level felt unnecessary. On a positive note, the bread was good. The restaurant itself is beautiful; however, the open layout and lack of acoustic treatment made for a very noisy atmosphere. View menu

That was the worst dinner we've ever had. The service was extremely slow. Two people in our group ordered fish, but it was so poorly prepared that they had to use their hands to remove the bones. Given the number of bones left, we ended up sending the fish back. The manager was somewhat argumentative. The menu was quite limited, with only four main course options, making it hard to choose an alternative dish. I would recommend staying away from this restaurant. I doubt it will be in business for much longer.

This was the worst dining experience we’ve ever had. The service was incredibly slow. Two members of our party ordered fish, which was so full of bones that they had to use their hands to try to remove them. When they still found many bones left, we decided to send the fish back. The manager was somewhat confrontational about the situation. Additionally, the menu was quite limited, making it difficult to choose an alternative dish with only four main course options. I would recommend avoiding this place. I wouldn’t be surprised if it closes soon.

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
