"I will start off by saying that we eat here for lunch and everything was just ok. Nothing special except a good price. We decided to give it another try and went to dinner with some family. I am soooo glad we went back for another try. It was a completely different experience. The chef had one of the best shows since the early benihana days. The food was amazing, it tasted totally different than what we had eaten for lunch a couple of weeks before. They also serve 2 shrimp with your meal as an appetizer that is included in the price also. This is a must to go to for dinner. Lots of food, great price and the chefs out some of the best you we see."

"We've lived in the area for about 7 months and every time we come here, there's a staff issue. Today was the last time we're coming in here. The hostess, Alexia, is not friendly or welcoming!!! She didn't smile, no greeting, just follow her. She walked by our table a few times, after we were seated, and gave us dirty looks each time!! We don't know her and I don't know why she kept giving us looks, even my husband commented. Considering this today and that our first experience here was the bartender who left mid-shift, and three managers couldn't get the bar area handled, back on Mother's Day, I just don't understand why this restaurant struggles for competent help!! My husband and I both work in customer service, and are puzzled about the bad service when this place seems busy most of the time."

"Two of us chose the beef medallions priced between $26 and $31, which turned out to be far from what we anticipated. Rather than the thin, round slices of filet mignon typically associated with medallions, we received chunky pieces of steak that were tough and stringy, with a noticeable amount of hard fat. They lacked flavor and were slightly undercooked. Despite the menu stating they were medallions, they were anything but. Additionally, my mother, the birthday celebrant, specifically requested no mushrooms. The chef seemed to have strained the gravy to accommodate her request, but in doing so, he left her with almost no sauce on her meat and absolutely none for her mashed potatoes. It's bewildering that a restaurant of this caliber cannot manage a simple special request, especially since many people have dietary preferences. The "glazed" carrots were another disappointment—they were just pre-cut, bleached baby carrots that appeared to be bought in bulk, lacking any actual glaze. It was shocking to see such a lack of effort in something so simple; it makes me wonder about the pride chefs take in their work these days. On a positive note, the prime rib dish was enjoyable. The waitress was friendly but did forget to bring horseradish with the prime rib special. Is that something we should request with a $28 dish? It seemed odd. Moreover, despite informing the staff twice about my mother’s birthday, they failed to acknowledge the occasion. While they managed to place cloth table linens on the tables, the overall experience felt more akin to a low-end chain restaurant, and the prices were anything but low-end. We expressed our concerns to the waitress, who promised to relay them to the manager, but no one from management ever came to address the situation before we received the bill. It's apparent that the new management, which took over last year, may not be maintaining the same standards as before. Perhaps the positive reviews were a reflection of the previous management. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant. It’s not worth your time or money."

"We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! It was our first visit, and we were truly impressed by the fantastic food. Cheryl provided us with excellent service throughout our meal. The gyros were fresh and tasty, with thick slices of meat straight from the cone. We were also pleased with the generous portions served to the kids for their pasta dishes. However, we did have a negative experience with the older male server who seated us; he was rude to our children and to a table of deaf diners nearby, which was completely unacceptable behavior for someone in the service industry. Despite this issue, we will definitely return for Cheryl's outstanding service and the delicious food."

"Let me start off with the fact that Jersey Mike's make the best sub on a normal day, our employees love them. When we have a busy day we order from Jersey's through door dash. Today was terrible service. We ordered 11 subs 10 of them to add pickles. Door dash delivered the bag of which was sealed with tape, got the bag into the office but only had 10 subs-called Jersey's spoke to a very nice lady of which she apologized but said she would get the 11th sub made and just to come up and pick it up. I was fine with that she stated they were busy and only had 3 employees show up for work. I am a business owner as well so I completely understand short staffed. I was not irritated at all. Entered the store -patiently waited as yes they were busy-employee at cash register looked at me and ask what I needed -I told her that I was there to pick up the 1 sub that we did not get on our order-immediately she became combative raising her voice stating that she made the subs and she knows for a fact that the bag had 11 subs not 10 in the bag- I stated to her no I am sorry but there were definitely only 10 subs as I have an employee sitting at our warehouse with no lunch. First off we are very busy as well why would I take the time to drive up there after I did a door dash order to lie to Jersey's about a missing lunch order on top of the fact that I informed her that there where no pickles on any of the subs at that point she became irate stating that she knows for a fact that they had pickles on them because she made them and she wrote pickles on the bags-I told her I know you wrote pickles on the bag but none of our sandwiches had pickles. They had not even made the sub yet after I had given them 30 minutes before I drove up there. The whole point of the story is that I have never been treated with such disrespect in a public restaurant as this store to just sit there and continue to argue with a customer, I really wish that I would have brought the whole order with me to show these people that yes you could have been wrong due to being so busy and it would have been no big deal, unfortunately when I got back to our warehouse the guys had already eaten or I would have brought everything back and asked for a refund. Needless to say I left without the 11th sub because at that point I did not trust her to make a sub without doing something discussing to it. Jersey's Mike's in Lady Lake will never get our business again and you better do something about that employee she has issues that go far beyond just being busy."
