"We’ve dined here a dozen times. Fresh New England style seafood. Great cocktails, cozy and lively, hidden Denver gem. Everything is wonderful and we’ve tried poke, oysters, New England clam chowder, cioppino style chowder, fresh sea bass in a fennel broth is to die for, fried shrimp like no where else. Sautéed spinach with garlic a must. Two negatives: why do I have to ask for chop sticks with my ahi tuna? Ahi doesn’t taste as nice using metal utensils. Sometimes you wash a set, last time you only had two sets for the four of us. WTHeck? Also, with my fried shrimp, sorry I still like my cocktail sauce. The chowder room is a find. When you’re craving seafood and miss the beaches of The coast come here for a fun evening!"

The chowder and the crab bisque were wonderful. I had the crab cake and it was packed with crab. Very tasty. Heather, our server, made suggestions and was very good at her job. We left very happy.

Chowder Room was very good the Chowder(s) were delicious, but in particular the regular, standard white classic was our favorite would recommend a Sour-Dough Bread Bowl, since both the Chowder AND the Sour Dough Bread were delicious!! We also divided a Calamari plate which was equally nice and had a scope each of Sweet-Cream Ice Cream can't go wrong with this total combination. View menu

We had a great experience at Chowder Room. The chowder was delicious, especially the classic white chowder. I would highly recommend trying it in a sourdough bread bowl, as both were fantastic! We also enjoyed the calamari plate, which was equally enjoyable. To end our meal, we each had a scoop of sweet cream ice cream. Overall, a perfect combination that you can't go wrong with.

I just love this place on a cold evening! What's not to love about a hot bowl or cup of chowder on a cold night? (Not that I don't go here in warmer months, as I do Been here twice inside of two weeks in late December Crab bisque special that was off the charts delicious. Their New England clam chowder is also not to be missed. (Can you say bacon? A bit noisy and a seat by the door can be chilly on a busy night, but so happy to see this establishment thriving in the neighborhood.

I absolutely adore this restaurant, especially on a chilly evening! There's nothing better than enjoying a warm bowl of chowder on a cold night. I also frequent this place in the warmer months. I visited twice in late December 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious crab bisque special. Their New England clam chowder is also a must-try, especially with the added bacon! It can get a bit noisy and sitting by the door on a busy night can be chilly, but I am thrilled to see this restaurant doing so well in the neighborhood. View menu

The Chowder Room restaurant immerses me in a seaside atmosphere with its decor, fresh seafood, and welcoming ambiance. The clam chowder is undeniably delicious, with traditional and inventive variations to choose from. The butterflied fried shrimp is the best I've ever tasted, and I search far and wide for top-notch shrimp. A variety of fresh seasonal dishes are always available, prepared to perfection. The menu offers a chance to sample a range of items like scallops, fish, lobster, and fried clams, all guaranteed to be delicious no matter your choice.

Chowder Room transports me to a place near the shore from the decor, to the fresh and delicious seafood, to the friendly, laid-back vibe. The clam chowder is without a doubt incredibly delicious, and there are always both traditional and creative versions to try. The butterflied fried shrimp is the best I have ever had, anywhere, and I scour the earth for great shrimp! There are always various kinds of fresh seasonal offerings, and the preparations are superb. The menu is great for trying a lot of different things scallops, fish, lobster, fried clams. No matter what you order, it will all be delicious.

"Love this place! Absolutely zero complaints. Wife surprised me with a stay in Rino for Father’s Day with Colorado Sake being the main reason for the stay. I’m a sake enthusiast at home. Everything we tried was amazing. We spent a couple of hours and did a couple of flights along with some Kanzake(warm sake) and tried 5-6 different izikaya dishes and they were all amazing. We stumbled upon a comedy show that we didn’t even know was happening which was absolutely hilarious. I loved the place so much, I ended up going back in the morning for round 2 and tried the remaining flavors I missed the night before.Met Taylor and she was incredibly attentive and helped us get through the rest of the flavors so we could pick the 6 bottles I wanted to take home as well as recommending some amazing food options. They had ran out of take home bottles and she did everything in her power to figure out a way for me to be able to bring home the bottles we wanted. Thankfully the owner came in with more bottles right before we left. All in all, one of the best Father’s Day trips I’ve had, such good food and the best drinks.I can’t wait to go down there again. Unfortunately I have a feeling I am going to have a hard time drinking the traditional sake I’m used to because this slightly different version is so damn good!Again shoutout to Taylor and the crew for taking the greatest care of us.This place rocks!!!"

"In a relatively unassuming location north of City Park lies a cute conglomerate of businesses, one of which being Rivers Roads. On nice days, it 's exceptionally setup for indoor/outdoor space. But even on cold days, it 's nice to cozy up with a cup of coffee and soak in the sun flooding the space through the south-facing glass garage doors. The coffee is great! I got my usual cortado, which was served in a small paper cup and featured no latte art , which was unfortunate. But that 's where the disappointment ended, as the flavors were excellent and it was well-balanced between milk and espresso. The space itself is quite spacious even inside, with plenty of plants and unique lighting fixtures. There 's ample cafe-style seating. It 's a great place to stay and work awhile or meet friends for conversations. Music isn 't overpowering, and WiFi is half decent. Not exceptional speeds but 25 up/down is adequate for many basic things. Plenty for me to finish the series finale of See in 4K while sipping my cortado! The staff are always pleasant and I would say more attentive than average, making you feel welcomed immediately. It 's not exactly in my neighborhood, but it 's still a regular spot for me. Seasonal drinks are good and most syrups are made in-house. Food is great. Outdoor patio is spacious and dog-friendly. There 's simply not many downsides, if any. Aside from there not being an actual river."
