"Had not been to Chuck’s in a while so thought we would pop back. We were disappointed that they were out of the one red wine we wanted. We ordered a Pinot Noir but , pretty sure it was not. The food was average. The crab cake was way too spicy (was nor noted in the description) fries were awesome and the quesadilla was good . Our waiter was friendly and efficient and attentive to our needs. I wont’t rule out going back but, I remember Chuck’s being much better on previous visits."

The portions are great. Service was ok, good enough, but I’m sure the server has more tables than they should. My family loves Chucks. Pork tenderloin was fantastic and the special sandwich was awesome. Not exactly cheap, but nor should it be since it’s real BBQ and scratch food.

Breakfast was delicious as usual but service was not good, which is unusual. Waited a long time for beignets which generally come way before the entree. Breakfast came immediately after so the experience wasn’t as enjoyable as it could have been. Didn’t get a coffee refill until we caught the wait person’s attention, at the end of the meal. The food is worth the visit, so will go again. Hopefully, service will improve.
