Cine Citta Caffe - Menu

The restaurant has been the perfect place for us in Surfside to date. There is no doubt the food is fresh, tasty and the helpings are perfect. The dessert menu is most definitely the best I have found in Surfide,Florida. If you should find yourself are visiting Surfside, this should be a MUST VISIT restaurant.

the food was delicious, even small portions. unfortunately the service was absolutely terrible. my wife and I were served separately, which is a huge pet peeve when it is fed as a couple. we were ignored during the rest of the meal. in an appeal this restaurant is worth the upgrade when the service expectations are managed accordingly.

The food at this restaurant is excellent but on the pricey side. They charge $3 for soda refillswhich is expensive compared to other Italian restaurants that offer larger portions for cheaper prices. Long waiting times; extremely small portions, a friend of mine ordered $30 fish and chips and was served to pieces of tiny egg sized fish with 10 French fries, absolutely despicable. When he complained to the to the manager he was berated with attitude and lectured about how expensive kosher food is. Meanwhile, countless of other places have larger portions and friendlier staff. Do your self a favor and skip this place.

I'm so upset with this place that wanted to share my experience real time.We put down our name and waited close to an hour. The owner plays favors and gives tables to people they know such as friends and anyone from their own circle.They didn't even try to hide it and did it in front of our faces and of others who also waited long time to get a table.At the end, the owner was extremely rude to a point of raising his voice saying that they won't take any more people regardless of the reservations.We have never seen such a terrible service and no wonder their own employees are miserable there and rude as well.This is the place that is never to be visited!!!

We arrived a few minutes early before our reservation at 7:30. No one came to take our order until 8:00. Our food only arrived at 8:30. I ordered pizza and fries. The fries only came after I had finished my pizza. My grandfather ordered the fish and specifically inquired about the type of fish. When the dish was brought to him, he realized it was not what he had ordered. The waiter, who seemed to be the manager, insisted that it was correct and told us to either eat it or leave it. He was rude throughout the entire evening, which ruined the experience for us. The food was good and we visited on a holiday, so I gave it 3 stars. My teenage daughter went to Cine Citta last night with 7 friends. They ordered 4 entrees to share, and soft drinks for everyone, and were told by the waiter that unless everyone ordered real food they would be charged $50 extra each. The waiter called the manager, who accused the girls of playing games and spoke to them so rudely that they left. This was not an issue related to other, possibly higher paying customers waiting for tables, as Cine Citta was mostly empty last night. We spoke with two other local families, who told us that their teenagers had similar experiences at Cine Citta in the recent past. Not sure if management or ownership at Cine Citta reads these reviews...but if you do...
