"I came here last night with my boyfriend to give this place a try. The waitress with the red loc was very friendly and welcoming. On the other hand, the young lady with the braids at the bar seems to have a little attitude. We wanted to try a different drink but she misunderstood because the music was to loud. Here the thing if you're not sure what a customer order or if you feel confused then it is always best to repeat the order back to customer to make sure everyone is on the same page. However, she gave a whole speech on how my boyfriend should work on his communications skills. My boyfriend and I was in complete shock with her behavior. Furthermore, we still was going to drink the liquor she made because that's how good the drink were. We didn't have a issue with her making the wrong drink it was the fact of how she handled the situation. I enjoyed the wing but the nachos could've been better. Also, the other bartender with the glasses was very helpful as well. In addition, I will not return to this establishment."

"What made matters even more frustrating was the presence of security personnel and an undercover police officer right outside at the time! We waited for at least two hours for the police to arrive. Although the doorman assured us that help was on the way, the police showed up much later and seemed more focused on completing their shift than on addressing our situation. When they finally arrived, they claimed it wasn’t their responsibility. When we inquired with the security staff about the frequency of such break-ins, they insisted that there hadn’t been any issues. However, we later learned that break-ins had occurred just the week before! This establishment is the absolute worst if you value security. It feels as though they are only interested in getting customers through the door and have no regard for ensuring their safety once inside. To make matters worse, two of us ended up contracting COVID after our visit. In summary, exercise extreme caution if you decide to visit this place; it’s a gamble you might want to avoid. Parking is particularly risky—try not to park more than four rows back, as you may return to a shattered window. And don’t expect any assistance from security or a call to the authorities if something goes wrong."

"I initially hesitated to go to Mamie's because there was a long line stretching out of the parking lot, onto the street, around the corner, and down the adjacent street. My boyfriend gave me a hard time about it, jokingly guilt-tripping me and insisting that any place with such a long line must be worth it. Eventually, due to a traffic delay caused by an accident, we ended up back at Mamie's. Instead of waiting in the drive-thru line, we got out and stood in the walk-up line. The customer service was excellent, with the counter staff being efficient, friendly, and transparent about how busy they were. Despite having multiple call-in orders, a long drive-thru line, and a queue of people waiting, they assured us that we would all be served. The food was delicious and we didn't have to wait long, but the staff member made sure to inform us about the potential wait. I was especially grateful when my son needed to use the restroom and the staff allowed him to do so even though the dining room was closed. I'm glad we decided to give Mamie's a try after all, and we will definitely return when we're in town again. Thank you, boyfriend, for being right! "

"This is my first time to eat here and I have to say that the food was very good. I had the two pork chops dinners with roasted green and mac n cheese with corn bread. I also have a red velvet cake with a free drink. Let me tell you that the greens at the point they would cook something like your grandma, as they maize bread and feed you with their hands. The Mac n cheese could be a bit more cheesy and these pork chops were just really spiced and just really roasted. I would recommend this place to anyone I know"

"I visited the restaurant due to all the buzz surrounding it, but I found it to be quite disappointing. I ordered the wings and chicken gizzards with their special seasoning, but I ended up having to add my own seasonings to make it taste better. It simply didn't live up to the expectations that others have expressed. If it weren't for the adobo and hot sauce, I probably wouldn't have finished my meal. On a positive note, the food was delivered hot and fresh, and while there was a bit of a wait, it wasn't a major issue. The cashier was friendly, but overall, I wouldn't return. The food just isn't as fantastic as everyone claims it to be."
