"Always love coming here. Glad they had buffalo cauliflower all summer—it was delicious! Seemed to have fewer ice cream flavors than in the past, but they were all good. Bring back the other coffee ice creams! Vegetarian options: Had a buffalo cauliflower appetizer available all summer, and they’ve had a veggie burger on the menu for years. Substitute the veggie patty on the mushroom burger for some variety! Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp from parking in front of building by street, no accessibility from rear parking."

Delicious food, a relaxed vibe, and lobster rolls that are reasonably priced.

The experience was just average. The food was quite pricey and didn't meet expectations. I dined in for lunch, and the cost per person was around $20 to $30.

The menu offers a wide variety of options, and the outdoor seating is quite pleasant. It's also a dog-friendly patio, which is a huge plus. Prices are very reasonable. For my dining experience: - Meal type: Dinner - Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 I highly recommend the French fries, rolls, lobster, sweet potato fries, and fish and chips. Parking: There is plenty of parking available, and it's a free parking lot.

We had a wonderful family dinner on a rainy night. Luckily, we had the covered outdoor patio all to ourselves since it was rainy and we were an early dinner group with three kids, which worked out perfectly. The food was delicious and plentiful— we had fried clam strips, clam chowder, lobster bisque, and two chicken tender kid meals. After our meal, we enjoyed some amazing ice cream. I highly recommend this place if you're in the Brewster area or staying at Nickerson State Park.

"Personally, I have a special fondness for this restaurant, as it was a place I frequented as a child with my parents and grandparents. It’s also where my husband shared his first meal with my family in Cape Cod and where my son enjoyed his first dining experience out here. However, my nostalgia isn’t the only reason I return; there are plenty of excellent restaurants to try. What brings me back is the consistently high-quality food and warm hospitality. Here’s a breakdown of why the Brewster Inn Chowder House deserves your time: **Atmosphere:** The vibe is calm, cozy, and comfortable. It offers a laid-back alternative to the more animated Wood Shed next door. As noted in another review, the interior feels like you’re inside someone’s home. There is a small bar area with a TV, alongside high-top tables and seating, plus an adjacent dining room. The entire place is clean, though outdoor seating is quite limited with just a couple of no-frills patio tables and chairs. **Libations:** They offer a standard but not extensive selection of beer, wine, and liquor along with juices, soft drinks, and coffee. During our recent visit, they had Bud on draft and a choice of Cape Cod brew. The drinks contribute to the experience, but they aren’t the main attraction. **Food:** The menu features classic American and seafood dishes, all well-seasoned and served warm. Over the years, my family and I have enjoyed steak, burgers, fish sandwiches, and various seafood entrees here, and every dish has been expertly prepared. Portions are generous; while you could probably finish your entrée in one sitting, there’s a good chance you’ll have leftovers. Mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, and fries are always perfectly cooked and seasoned. The vegetables are standard fare—not a highlight—but the house salads consistently feature fresh, crisp greens. We’ve never ordered dessert because we’ve always been too full! **Service:** The waitstaff are always warm, friendly, and attentive; this has been a consistent positive over the years. **Pricing:** The prices are very competitive. Like many places, meal costs have risen over the last few years, but the prices here remain on the more affordable side for a sit-down lunch or dinner in Cape Cod. Their drink prices are particularly reasonable, with a 10 oz draft of Bud priced under $5 and a standard pint of Cape Cod IPA at $6. You won’t find cheaper options around here. **Who Should Visit:** This restaurant is perfect for couples or friends looking for a quiet, low-key evening where conversation is easy. It could also accommodate larger parties with advance reservations. Families with children will find it an ideal spot for a nice dinner out without the stress of navigating an upscale, busy restaurant. Those seeking classic Cape Cod dishes in a cozy atmosphere will also feel right at home here. Overall, the Brewster Inn Chowder House is worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for a reliable dining experience. They are open year-round and accept reservations, a bonus that many local eateries don’t always offer. If you have the chance, show some love and support this local establishment."
