"I lived in New England for some time and was spoiled by the many lobster roll options. When I get that craving here, the crabby shack is always my go to spot. I know here I am getting the closest I can to that delicious lobster roll taste I like. First off, I think a lot of people are turned off my pricing, yes these are quite small perhaps 2 might be better, but still as far as lobster roll goes this is quite normal. Here I've tried the crab roll, lobster roll, clam chowder, tomato basil and banana pudding. My least favorite has been the tomato basil soup but the rest of my selections were delicious. The only thing I recommend is that they butter toast the bread a bit more! But overall, it's a delicious meal each time!"

I ordered the whiting sandwich, tater tots, and fish taco. The drinks were also very good. Overall, I would rate the food as a 4 out of 5.

I absolutely love the lobster quesadilla at this restaurant. The meat is juicy and tender, and combined with the cheese and tartar sauce, it's pure heaven.

The food is EXCELLENT! I got a crab BLT, and the flavors melted in my mouth. I also got to try the honey butter cornbread and banana pudding, and the two combined were *chef’s kiss*. The staff were also really kind. 10/10 experience

Came on a rainy Saturday night. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. The clobster roll is to die for! Can't believe I haven't been here in over a year. I'll be back soon for sure.Waiter at the cashier was patient as I was indecisive. Beautiful decor and great music. Also had a lemonade which was delicious! View menu

We ordered two crab rolls, one with bacon, mayo, garlic butter, and coleslaw, and the other with avocado, tomato, cucumber, and garlic butter. However, when we opened the bag, they were just plain crab rolls. Despite this, the crab rolls were still really good. We were just disappointed because the toppings we chose could have elevated it to the next level. Overall, we rate the food 4 out of 5.

The seafood is pretty decent. The fried whiting comes with two slices of bread and some garden greens. I requested tartar sauce but that didn’t make the trip. Could be the fact that the delivery guy dropped the order before handing it off in a torn paper bag. The crab blt was excellent! Eat everything fresh when you get it. Any reheating will not generate the same experience from the original time you got your food. The fish was good and the crab tastes fresh. I would try it again.

Great shrimp, crabs, and fish. Excellent corn bread. The drinks are a nice touch lending to an island vibe. The chowder was awesome, too. I like all different types of music. That being said, I understand that we were in Brooklyn, but playing rap music the whole time we were there was not cool. I am a native New Yorker, and so were my guests. We are from different age groups. It would have been nice to hear a variety of music instead of what the cashier and or kitchen staff prefer. Other than that, the food was great and the place was very clean.

We were excited to finally try this place, and it left me highly disappointed... I ordered the crab and shrimp platter, which tasted sour as if something was spoiled, same with the mac and cheese... The chicken sandwich was chewy and rubbery... it was all so bad we ended up throwing the food away after informing the young lady of our concerns it was suggested to just throw it away, she did offer a new plate but at that time the damage was done and was already turned off and felt sick.... we were informed that the policy was no refunds in the store. We must contact the owners via email for a refund... we have contacted them multiple times since our visit with no response... waste of money and...

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
