"I typically don’t like to complain, and I paid my entire bill despite some errors on it. At checkout, the cashier mistakenly combined my bill with someone's online order. I left a $30 tip because I've been a server for over 20 years, and I saw how overwhelmed our kind server was—she did her best under the circumstances. However, Kevin, the manager, whom I previously worked with at another restaurant, ignored my family and brushed off my concerns. I’m not usually one to voice complaints, but we ended up waiting for over two hours for our food…"

Waitress wasn't worth the tip I gave. Steaks are always more rare than I ordered. Fun lobby. Interesting novelties to buy.

My granddaughter wanted rainbow sparkle pancakes from Cracker Barrel, so we decided to go. The food was great, and the staff was exceptional!

Just wanted to say that the service the 3 people I was with I received Sunday 1/28/2023 was excellent from Annalese (I hope I spelled her name right). Great food too even though they were all out of the trout. View menu

I would advise against ordering delivery from this restaurant. I ordered biscuits and gravy with extra gravy, but instead received three biscuits, bacon, and no gravy at all. The menu stated a 32 oz. drink was included, yet I only got a small kids' to-go cup. I did receive a refund, but overall, it was a complete waste of time.

Out of a few things that we tried to order. Out if their special sourdough bread! Not sure if a management issue or supply chain problem. Also disappointed that grits don't come with everything like they used to. Been a long time guest, always liked my grits, now have to pay extra for them. Will still be back, but my how CB has changed a lot in recent couple of years.

"Haru Ramen House in Layton, Utah, is a mixed bag in terms of dining experience. Starting with the positives, the appetizers were undoubtedly the highlight of the meal. They were flavorful, well-prepared, and arrived quickly. The gyoza, for instance, had a delightful crispness on the outside with a savory filling, and the takoyaki was a pleasant surprise with its rich flavors and texture. However, the main attraction—the ramen—was a bit of a letdown. While it wasn’t outright bad, it failed to stand out. The broth lacked the depth and richness one would expect from authentic ramen, and the noodles were just average. The toppings were sufficient but didn’t elevate the dish, leaving the overall experience underwhelming. The biggest disappointment, though, was the service. The staff seemed inattentive, and it took a long time to get refills or assistance. The lack of hospitality and care took away from what could have been a more enjoyable meal. It felt as though the staff were either overworked or simply uninterested, which was unfortunate given the potential of the restaurant. Overall, Haru Ramen House has its moments with the appetizers, but the average ramen and poor service make it hard to recommend wholeheartedly. With some improvements in customer service and a bit more attention to the quality of the ramen, this spot could become a much better dining destination. "My fiancé and I ate here for Valentine’s Day and had a delicious dinner. Our server Bryce had some great recommendations. We started off with the crabmeat fries. I love good loaded fries…and these were absolutely fantastic! The fries were cooked to perfection and the flavor was great! We’d definitely order these again. We did the Valentine’s Day special which was dinner for two for $69 (very clever . It came with an appetizer, main course, and a dessert. We chose the crabmeat fries (delicious , crab, shrimp, extra shrimp (which was an additional $4 , and a lemon blueberry dessert. We chose to get the hook reel original sauce in a spicy heat level. I can do a little bit of heat, so spicy was great for me. I probably could have gone a tad hotter. I didn’t try the next heat level, but I think my fiancé would have liked that more. He loves spicy food. The main course was delicious! We couldn’t get enough of that sauce! The potatoes were cooked perfectly and could be easily cut with a fork. We ordered a lemon blueberry dessert, but the server brought us cheesecake. I don’t usually like cheesecake, but we really needed to be heading home, so we didn’t say anything to our server. I ended up loving the cheesecake! It was fantastic when drizzled with both the chocolate and strawberry sauce! Cheesecake is usually too dense for me, but this one was very light. All in all we had a great dinner. It could have been a little better if we were provided with gloves (I hate getting my hands messy . I don’t know if they forgot to provide them or if we needed to ask. It wasn’t a deal breaker though so we just dug in. It was kind of fun : We’d definitely come back for more delicious food."
