This roadside custard and ice cream stand has a fantastic selection of options. We tried the flavor of the day, a delightful mix of root beer and vanilla, and it was exceptional. My son had a kid-sized portion of rainbow sherbet, while my husband chose a cocoa mocha shake. Although he enjoyed the taste, he found the shake a bit too thin for his liking. If we happen to be in the area again, we would certainly come back for more!

You'll see families, couples on dates, dogs of all sizes, and lots of happy faces everywhere. We visit Custard's Last Stand almost every summer, and I genuinely think they improve each year. In the past two years, they've even added dairy-free sorbet, which I really appreciate! My favorite flavor so far is raspberry, while I found the lemon a little too tart for my liking. However, it still remains a family favorite. The twist flavor is always a dependable classic too. They've also broadened their selection of Hershey's ice cream and sundaes. One change I would love to see is the option to pay with credit or debit cards, as I hardly ever carry cash anymore.
