"This was my first visit to the restaurant. I tried two types of nigiri, and unfortunately, both left me disappointed—though it could have been a one-time issue. The rice didn’t hold together well, causing the nigiri to fall apart as soon as we picked them up. Additionally, the slices were quite thin. On the other hand, the shishito peppers were decent; you really can't go wrong with them. The aburi saba was also okay but nothing remarkable. The highlights of the meal were the ika-uni and the baked scallops tapas, although the portions were quite small. Considering the overall quality was average, the prices felt a bit too high. I wouldn't say I'm eager to come back."

The Yaki Udon never disappoints! Great sushi rolls and nigiri too. Takeout quality is just as good as dining in.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of izakaya dishes and sushi rolls. It features a pleasant outdoor seating area as well as a cozy interior. Prices are reasonable, and the service is impressively quick.

If you're craving authentic Japanese cuisine but can't make the trip to Japan, this is the place for you! Regular sushi restaurants often don't provide the complete experience of savoring traditional Japanese dishes, but Dash truly delivers. I highly recommend trying their Unagi Don paired with fresh nigiri. It's a delightful combination!

Top Secret Sushi is the real deal! The flavors are delicious and unique. The vegetarian dragon sushi is a great choice as well. The wasabi is fresh, which is a nice touch! The crunch sushi was just okay, but overall it’s a fantastic place for sushi. It’s not exactly fine dining, but the space is clean and inviting. The staff was friendly and attentive. View menu

This is a charming little sushi spot with a laid-back atmosphere. We tried several appetizers, and they were not only visually appealing but also delicious. The Dash Taco stood out for its presentation, while the Cartilage Karage impressed with its flavor. For sushi, we ordered the crunchy roll and the sakura roll. The crunchy roll was excellent, but the sakura roll didn't quite meet our expectations. Overall, the food, service, and prices were great, and I would definitely return.

My friend ordered salmon sashimi and Kaisen Don, while I opted for Chirashi. The main difference between the Kaisen Don and Chirashi is that the Kaisen Don features daily specials of fish, so the selection varies, whereas the Chirashi consistently includes salmon, shrimp, egg, scallop, tuna, and yellowtail. It was served with a salad. I enjoyed my meal, particularly the seasoned rice, and my friend did as well. However, we both felt that the prices were a bit high for what we received. Overall, I would return. Next time, I’d like to try their shareable plates, which seem to be quite popular.

"Curry Hyuga had long been on my culinary radar, and today, I finally had the chance to experience it. The occasion arose as I needed to pick up my partner at SFO later, and given the mere 10-minute drive from the restaurant to the airport, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to satiate my appetite and make the most of my time, rather than aimlessly circling around the airport. Conveniently, there are numerous public parking lots scattered throughout the town. The restaurant opens its doors at 11:30 am, and I arrived promptly at 11:25 am, only to find a queue already forming outside, as depicted in the photo. The attentive server, Yuki promptly greeted each customer and kept my water glasses filled, setting a positive tone for the dining experience.Opting for their Signature Curry Rice Entree, which features their caramelized onion curry accompanied by shredded cabbage, creamy potato salad, and Fukujin pickles, I decided to elevate my meal by adding Chicken Cutlet Katsu Curry with Chicken Karaage as additional toppings. To my amazement, my order was delivered to my table in a mere 3 minutes, which left me thoroughly impressed. Curry Hyuga's standout feature is their incredibly tender meat, perfectly complemented by their mouthwatering curry—a true masterpiece with Kanazawa-style sweetness and richness that sets it apart. To further customize your dish, they offer a selection of five different spices: Ichimi Togarashi, Jalapeno Pepper, Pequin Pepper, Wiri Wiri Pepper, and Orange Habanero. I had the pleasure of sampling all of them, and personally, I found the Wiri Wiri Pepper and Orange Habanero powder to be standout choices. Their spiciness elevated the curry to a whole new level, complemented by the unique fragrance of the peppers."
