"I decided to visit this restaurant after encountering numerous positive reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others that the overall favorable feedback may not be accurate. First of all, the prices are considerably high, as mentioned in some reviews. I'm usually okay with expensive meals if the quality matches the cost. Unfortunately, it was the poor quality of the food that prompted me to write this review. I ordered a Bento Box that included a California Roll and Bulgogi. The California Roll was disappointing, lacking avocado and containing only a small amount of cucumber. As for the Bulgogi, it was mostly grilled onions—over 50%—and the beef had a rubbery texture, making it the worst Bulgogi I've ever had at a restaurant."

"Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit out on the porch on a fairly humid June evening and the ceiling fans made for a nice breeze. We find most of the restaurants are overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we came in - that's a big plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without interfering. She noted that it was nice to see kids with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as advertised and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended."

"This place was just ok, as it reminded me of a 90s mom and pop sandwich shop. The decor is seriously lacking, old tables and mismatched chairs, plastic utensils, and Styrofoam bowls. It kind of has a feeling of a soup kitchen and an old hospital cafeteria and meals on wheels.The food was fine. I had a half sourdough sandwich and a cup of broccoli soup. My wife had a bowl of soup and a lack luster grilled cheese that my 4 year old kind of munched on. Honestly, it wasn't anything special, and it was quite pricey for what it was. If you really look at it, we got 1 sandwich and a full bowl of soup for 35 bucks....so yeah.But I will say this place was busy....lots of 50+ and senior citizens were eating here.Parking: Good luck during lunch rush"

"As their title might suggest, this restaurant joins different cuisines in a appealing and artful way. The menu alludes to Mediterranean and asain influence, but also includes Italian and American classics. The fresh local ingredients were evident and vibrant with color and flavor. We loved the grilled bread with amazing mushrooms, a must try! The Baja fish taco was bursting with flavor and the sausage, onion and Calabrian chili pizza was incredible. Of course we had to try the Sicilian ricotta filled donuts in blackberry sauce and we were glad we did! With a surprisingly eligent ambiance in the Richland uptown, handmade ceramics all accented with the dovetail logo, and ingredients that were elivated and intentional, I highly recommend this hidden gem!"
