"I'd like to start by saying, this was an extremely difficult reservation to obtain. Probably the most difficult reservation I've ever had to get. I was extremely optimistic about what my experience may be like. We started with the stuffed garlic Flatbread. It was sensational, the flavor was tremendous and extremely delicious. We then got into the chrysanthemum salad and a special of the day. They were both delicious and exceptional. We then had the lasagna and Japanese sweet potatoes. I didn't think potatoes could he that amazing. It was a perfect bite. The lasagna was out of this world. We also shared a bottle of wine which was recommended by our server. We finished with the tiramisu, I did not expect it to be as amazing as it was. The service was also extremely good. They were always smiling and very knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance was just what you would expect as well. Overall, I would say this is a must try. 10/10. It is probably a top three meal I've ever had. It was worth the three months it took me to get this reservation. I recommended trying to go. It's worth it."

The lasagna was delicious, but L’Artusi's is even better.

Michelin starred for good reason. Service was excellent and so was the food. That was the best Italian food I’ve had in a very long time. Everything cooked to perfection and made with so much intention. I will certainly be back

This was a bucket list experience that truly lived up to the hype. I was pleasantly surprised by how sweet and friendly the staff was—special thanks to Daniel for being amazing, and to Lydia for the laughs and the incredible dirty martinis. I went with the classic choices: the chrysanthemum salad, lasagna, and tiramisu. Everything was absolutely sensational. We were astonished at how quickly we devoured the salad. The reviews are spot on—the bread that comes with the lasagna is unbelievable. I give it a 10/10 and can't wait to return!

Don Angie's absolutely lives up to the hype! I had been eager to try the lasagna, and it did not disappoint—it was fantastic! The edges were crispy, and it was hearty with rich sauce and cheese, making it incredibly satisfying. We also had the chrysanthemum salad and sweet potatoes, both of which were delicious. The tiramisu was uniquely wonderful as well! Don Angie's is truly a memorable dining experience! The interior is clean and cozy, and the service is personable, friendly, and attentive. I highly recommend it! Don’t wait; make a reservation now! View menu

Honestly the first dish they recommended was my favorite pasta dish I've had in NYC. It was this pasta with black sesame in the dough and on the dish with apricots on top. Sweet, savory, amazing. Would definitely recommend that if it is offered. Also the Japanese sweet potatoes were fire. I know they are known for their lasagna and it was very good but also very cheesy. The food overall was very good and the quality of the food was also great. The service was amazing and we had very fun and kind servers. The atmosphere was also awesome, very clean and put together.

This place deserves all the hype! Everything we had was great and reasonably priced. We went as a big group so we were able to order almost everything on the menu and share all of them family style. The highlight was the caramel pasta, which is only available when the pastry chef is in, so make sure you don’t miss out when they have it. Other recommendations are their famous lasagna for 2, the chrysanthemum salad, spicy cantaloupe coppa, and the grilled pork shoulder. I’m not a big fan of their tiramisu, but the strawberry sorbet was such a great surprise with its refreshing hint of basil

If I could give this restaurant more than a 5 star rating, I absolutely would. The food, atmosphere and service were all beyond fantastic. Totally next level. I wasn’t able to snag a reservation, but my mom and I sat at the bar and had such an amazing experience. Our bartender and server, Daniel, was a superstar. He made our visit to Don Angie even more special and memorable. For food, we started with the Chrysanthemum Salad (best salad I’ve ever eaten , then got the Japanese Sweet Potatoes (words cannot describe how amazing these are and the Lasagna for Two (beyond superb!! . And for dessert, we had the tiramisu and it is definitely the best I’ve had in the US hands down. If you’re thinking... View menu

It was very hard to get a reservation here. When they open up reservations at exactly 9am they always ran out right away. We were finally able to land one and we were very excited to try this spot out. Sad to say, i think there’s better food places that’s easier to get to. The food wasn’t bad. It was well balance. I would recommend the chrysanthemum salad and the lasagna. The lasagna was very well balanced and fits my flavor profile. The prices were alright it’s not too bad considering NYC. I feel a little indifferent about the service just because i was observing and there was no consistency with the servers. One person was giving exceptional service (ex. Asking if they have any allergies,...

Their cuisine is best described as Italian fusion with Asian influence, if you're looking for a traditional Italian cuisine, this restaurant is not it.Calamari dish is really blackened/Cajun fried rice with a few calamari pieces and thai basil leaves.Their veal dish was a thin piece of fried breaded meat, with prosciutto cuts and veggies on top. No sauce to balance the dryness. The lobster for 2 was good as was the pasta dish that came with it, however the salad did not have any dressing not even olive oil.The scallops dish was good, tasty and lemony as was the fish with clams dish. Some of their pasta dishes are heavy on the sauce but they don't provide any bread to scoop it up. When we order...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
