The only restaurant I am aware of in Kapolei where a vegetarian can dine is Down to Earth.

The Down to Earth burger with a Life Foods patty and gluten-free bun is so FRIGGIN delicious, I wish I could eat it everyday. It is a must try if you should ever visit a Down to Earth... vegan or non-vegan. View menu

I visited from South Carolina, where almost every food establishment offers a decent selection of vegan options. When we arrived in Hawaii, I was initially disappointed with the lack of local food stores that catered to my dietary needs until I discovered this place! They offer a wide variety of options for both vegans and non-vegans. The food here is absolutely fantastic!

This place is a place where I always find myself back and I always try something new. I would say that all they have is pretty good, prices vary, a little more expensive but- I think it's worth trying new things. Just be tired because not everything is vegan, because some has cheese especially in their own sandwiches, as there is no milk in the "includes" part of food - but I avoid them staying safe. A great variety anyway.

It's not cheap, but it is high quality. It is simply my favorite place to shop for special groceries, and to get a meal in the buffet/bakery. There are so many vegan and gluten free options, so I know I can always go there and get a lunch or dinner that tastes so good, and also won't make me sick. The pizza is my favorite. Location: They are located in the Kapolei Commons Shopping Center in the corner. There are tons of parking in the front and side of their building. Grocery: They have a wide array of merchandise from produce, granola, frozen entrees, paleo/gluten items, body care items, hot/cold food, deli, smoothie/juice bar and freshly made desserts. Hot/Cold Food: The food was amazing! Great variety of options and everything that I have tasted is delicious. They also have a noodle bar and a small section of baked goods. Very friendly staff and clean establishment.

There are so many vegan options, but I chose a prefabricated vegan breakfast Burrito from the hot table, a double chocolate cookie from the bakery case and ordered a Veggie Cold Cut Sub from the Deli. Breakfast Burrito was comfortable, but subdued. Most articles on the hot table were vegan, so next time I will try something else. The cookie was delicious, but I wish it wasn't packed in plastic. The lower part includes Yves Salami, turkey or ham slices, tomatoes, peppermint, onions, black olives, salad, paprika, vegenaise, mustard, olive oil, vinegar and vegan Swiss, jack, or Cheddar cheese on a whole wheat lower roll by default. We decided to visit this restaurant as it was conveniently located near our resort. My partner and I had recently transitioned to a vegan diet and were eager to try out some new recipes from a cookbook I had purchased. As first-time vegans, we were unsure of what ingredients to look for and sought assistance from the staff.
