"The ambiance was charming, and having a drink at the bar felt like a better option than dining in. However, the service was slow and only somewhat attentive. The kitchen took its time preparing three burgers and some fries, and unfortunately, none of the burgers came out as ordered. As for the flavors, they didn’t stand out, especially considering the menu implied that sandwiches were their specialty. I would return, but only for drinks and an appetizer."

The experience was fantastic all the way around. Cooked to perfection lamb and half chicken! The peas and carrots, WOW! Thank you to Brad, Justin, Phoebe and Illyana for a great evening!

Great restaurant! The wait for our food was a little long, but the steak was impressively well-prepared and cooked. The lemon pepper wings were a tad salty, but overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

Been living in the area for 3 years and now that we are moving in two months, I discovered this gem too late. My husband, daughter and I absolutely love the food, staff and cleaniness of the bathroom! I will make sure i dine there at least 3 times before my March move View menu

The change from Drexlers to Cibus Chophouse is a welcome one. The food is upscale casual and the drink menu is an interesting mix of all types of libations. We have been back several times, and we look forward to the 2nd venture of this group across the street with even more delicious fare. Looking forward to enjoying burgers on the porch in the warmer weather !

Kudos to the chef! The butter board came with an herbed focaccia and part of a baguette and the butters of the fat were fabulous. The carrot puree was to die for! We shared the ribeye which was sticking, cooked perfectly, and very flavorful with an amazing red wine sauce. The Brussels were the best I’ve ever had, and the mashed potatoes were decent. Roy always makes amazing cocktails and the Phoebus 75 was delicious! Don’t miss this culinary delight!

"Well here I am back at it again. And BayBee this spot did not disappoint. First let say thank you to Roxanne who was our server and she was attentive and very helpful when we asked for suggestions. Big Ups to cooks on the Cooking Staff for serving fresh delicious veggies. Almost like it was farm to table. Ok so let's get into about the spot in detail. We ordered cocktails (Oaxaca Old Fashioned and Smoke and Mirrors). One word . Yea yea I know who goes to a Fusion Mexican Spot and orders an Old Fashion (this guy). Never been a big Margarita person. But I do like Tequila all day everyday. They have a hella variety. Apps we ordered was Queso and chips and Chicharrones. One word........Flavortown. And for Entrees wifey order the Special (Steak chimichanga) and I had the Taco Dinner plate. Now this is where this gets weird.......Beef Brisket and Fried Chicken Tacos. Mannnnnnnnnn they were . Beef Brisket was so damn moist and flavorful. I could've bathed in the marinade and/or seasoning they made for it. And the Fired Chicken Tacos were on Hit. Not salty and with the lime and shredded Cabbage Slaw added to the freshnessness (yes that is a word). So you may ask why the four stars instead of five. If you read my reviews they are more for personal preference vice the establishment itself. Cons: The spot is tucked off on a corner and could miss it if you don't pay attention. Second I am NOT a Tajin fan at all. Most of the food menu requires it. So make sure you ask for no Tajin if you are like me. And Parking is hit or miss. Didn't see a parking lot or parking spaces beside the street. Pros: damn good Cocktail Menu. Food is damn azz good. Wouldn't even know they existed if it wasn't for Stormy Blue (S/O @_StormyBlue) on IG. I REFUSED TO EAT MEXICAN ANYTHING IN VA being a Cali Dude. I have food my Mexican Food Spot away from the Crib. I will be back on a pay day."
