"You order at the counter and pay for your food, then find a seat. I asked the cashier about the items in the display case, and she informed me that they make homemade tarts that are huge and look absolutely delicious. Once we sat down, our coffee was promptly served. The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing, making you feel right at home. It didn’t take long for our food to arrive. I ordered a spinach and cheese omelette with potatoes and sourdough toast, while my husband chose the burrito. I usually order omelettes and find that they are often poorly cooked, but this chef did an excellent job; it was cooked to perfection, and the potatoes were tasty as well. My husband raved about how delicious the burrito was. I highly recommend this cafe—you absolutely have to try it! We will definitely be returning, and I also got the red velvet tart to enjoy later. "Today was our first time eating here and we selected it based on the good reviews. Every month we met up with our cousins and pick a new restaurant to try while we catch up. There was a nice selection of food on the menu but unfortunately we had hardly been seated when our waitress asked what we wanted and was very short and to the point. It was as if we were bothering her just being there. There was no greeting or introduction, we hadn't even had a chance to look the menu over. We asked for a couple of minutes and it seemed as though that request really annoyed her. She promptly came back a minute later and took the order and walked off not another word and no refills until we were leaving. The food was good, waitress was just short with us and made us feel unwelcome and rushed the entire time. Don't think we will ever come back here....not because of the food but because of the service."

"What a fantastic dining experience! From the moment we stepped from the noisy street into the delightfully quaint (and quiet! dining room our experience was top drawer. Owner Isabelle greeted us and showed us to our reserved booth. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a perfectly romantic setting, laid out in such a way to encourage intimate conversation. The dining room is small, yet it doesn't feel crowded. At our table Isabelle took the time to carefully explain the drinks (including specialty wines available. She left to give us a few moments to peruse the drink selections before sending over the pleasant hostess to ask for our drink selections. While we had only coffee and water with our meals, the other patrons there appeared to enjoy their drink selections. Soon Isabelle was back to describe Chef Jan Kinds specialty appetizers and dishes. After here vivid descriptions I wanted to try them all! We decided on a wonderfully prepared appetizer-seared scallops on a pumpkin puree; for the main fare, my wife had sautéed shrimp and I had the chef specialty rack of lamb with Dijon sauce; for dessert we had the molten chocolate lava cake. All the courses were prepared with excellence. My wife was in heaven with the molten lava cake; it was delicious! By far my favorite was the rack of lamb which was one of the best preparations of lamb I have ever eaten. The pacing of the meal was just right for us as we were there for a romantic meal celebrating our 34 year anniversary. If you are in a hurry this might not be the choice for you. However, if you are in the mood to be treated well, to be served perfectly prepared food, in a delightfully quaint atmosphere, by people who obviously love their business this is most definitely the place for you."

"Having recently moved I wanted to try the sushi and this place popped up on Doordash, so I ordered two rolls that sounded good. They weren't just good, they were PHENOMENAL. I was stunned. The rolls were huge and PACKED with filling. I decided to go back twice since then with my sushi-loving sister to the actual physical location and, again, we were both blown away at the quality. We got different rolls each time and they were enormous, flavorful, fresh, and amazing. This has to be, hands down and by far, my favorite sushi place I've ever eaten at. The staff are very cool, knowledgeable, and relaxed. I'm definitely bringing my family back to try the hibachi next!!Parking: Both times we physically went to the location we were able to get a spot directly in front of the door!"

"After living in Spring Hill for nine years, we finally decided to try Gigi's. As a New Yorker from Brooklyn, I have to say that the pizza here doesn’t quite match the style I’m used to. However, it was still delicious, and the portion of pepperoni for $6.99 was quite generous. Our total was $19.19 for a cheese and pepperoni pizza. The pizza folded nicely and was both cheesy and full of flavor. The only drawback that kept it from being true New York style was the thick, chewy, and doughy crust, which reminded me more of a deep-dish pizza. I think if the crust had been thinner, it could have easily claimed the title of the best pizza in the area. We're definitely open to giving this place another try and will request a thinner crust next time, as the pizza had great flavor that warrants another visit to Gigi's."
