"This is a truly authentic Israeli Mediterranean restaurant. It’s a cozy spot with only a handful of tables inside and outside, so I opted for takeout. The atmosphere is very local, genuine, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh. I was informed that most of the menu is vegan, but it's definitely worth asking about. I tried the vegan shawarma plate, which was outstanding, along with the falafel plate. I have to say, the hummus and falafel are probably the best I've ever had!"

"This restaurant serves authentic Persian cuisine, far removed from the typical SoCal kabob options. The lemon chicken is infused with a delightful floral saffron aroma, complemented by a slight char on the chicken breast. The basmati rice is cooked to perfection. The meal also includes a delicious lentil soup, hummus, and a Greek salad served over mixed greens. Priced at $14.99 before tax, it's a great value, as it can easily satisfy two people. Unlike many kabob shops that skimp on sides, all of the accompaniments here were well-prepared and flavorful. The staff was friendly, and the ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant. A nice touch was the offer of hot tea while I waited for my takeout order, showcasing the warmth of Persian hospitality."

"This hidden gem is a true treasure. I used to visit this place almost every week when I worked in Van Nuys. The food is amazing, especially the sandwiches which are of top-notch quality and taste. The prices are very reasonable, so there's no excuse not to come and try this place!"

"Got the Buffalo Chicken Fries as well as the Chicken Wing Dinner with the macaroni and baked beans. Took forever for me and my homie to order and the girl at the counter was super patient. Staff is super friendly. The food is incredible. I thought the mac and cheese wasn't salty enough but maybe that's my own addiction to salt. LOL the baked beans were the best I've had in years. I wish you got another wing because the combo is kinda pricey but inflation and all rip America. The buffalo fries were so damn good. I wish they had bleu cheese but still a fantastic place. Also there's a smoke shop with a FREAKING DOG across from this place which was cool. This place is dope. Great staff and great food."

"My son found this little gem in Sherman Oaks so when I hit SoCal the family and I grabbed some take-out. Cee-Lo is in a small strip mall with easy access and adequate parking. The workers were very friendly and the food was excellent, overall, a solid 4.5 rounded to 5 stars.We ordered fried chicken, fried shrimp with collard greens, plantain and onion rings. We finished it off with a cornbread peach cobbler. The chicken and shrimp had excellent batter, very good flavor and fried to a nice crunch. The onion rings were crunchy but needed a dip. I've never had collard greens but I liked the greens. My wife and daughter ate the plantains which they both liked.The Cornbread Peach Cobbler was good. It had more filling than crust. Overall the flavor was great but a little more crush would have been perfect.The family and I will be back again next time I visit SoCal. If you are in the area, swing by for great comfort food, don't miss out."
