"They were rude and made our meals with hardly any chicken. My chicken bowl was not even full. I'm still hungry) When asked for more chicken, they said that is 4oz and would have to charge. The chicken they gave was scraps at the bottom but when they made other people's food they had the right amount and size pieces of chicken. They also laughed at my husband when he asked to remake his food because it wasn't right. My husband asked other customers if there was any chicken in his burrito, they said no. The chicken nachos had barely any chicken. The manager remade that and showed me 4oz of chicken and I told the manger that was not 4oz of chicken. That was still scrapps at the bottom of the pan. They also were charging for cilantro dressing. The place is dirty on top of that. The service was horrible and they seemed to be racists since they made our meals with hardly any chicken and made other peoples meals right with the right amount of chicken. I wouldn't even give them 1 star. NEGATIVE 5 STARS YES!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE $5 MENU?? PAID FULL PRICE FOR THIS BAD FOOD."

They took great care of us at the drive-thru and double-checked our order. Overall, it was a fantastic experience at El Pollo!

I had a lovely time at this restaurant. The woman who waited on me, whom I believe was the manager, was extremely friendly, and the food was fantastic! View menu

Sign said new shrimp tacos. I ordered 3. All were 4 dollars and change for a small taco with only 3 tiny pieces of shrimp in eachs with over load of cabbage. Very bland with no taste. Id put 0 starts but thats not possible. Never going back again. Not worth any amount of money.

There were numerous homeless individuals present both inside and outside the restaurant. The service and demeanor of the staff were quite disappointing. The food was nothing special, and despite spending $130, I was still charged for items that should have been included with my order.

I always go to the restaurant on 51st and McDowell. Something about there seasoning on there chicken. The rice and beans for my sides, flour tortillas because I just love flour tortillas. They are not picky when you ask for specific salsa. Most likely will now head that way for a meal ?????????? View menu

We live right next to this place in the hotel. We read the reviews and thought we would save our money. Then we're hungry. So we thought we'd try. I have the 4 pieces of chicken. Potatoes and gravy and beans. It came with 4 tortillas. It was great. My husband has the street tacos. They were also delicious. Everything was hot. We were pleasantly surprised and now we are filled.

"i’ve been coming to lacuna for over two years now and this little gem is definitely one of my favorite places to be. i’m not much of a review-writer, but when i feel passionately about places (good or bad , i get inspired.as someone who leads an alcohol-free lifestyle, it is SO nice having this option to unwind and create some art, relax, or hang out with friends. i’ve truly made so many wonderful connections through lacuna that i will cherish for a lifetime!it’s also a great place to get work done. i work remote, so i spend a good majority of my week here at my second office ; the BOGO happy hour deal comes in clutch.i think it’s really great that there is a mix of events now too, not just strictly DJ’s performing 6-7 nights a week. (although i do absolutely love the nights when there’s a DJ as well ! the variety of events is great; chess tournaments, community coloring, workshops, recovery groups, massages, yoga etc. there’s been a lot of engaging activities that i enjoy attending or participating in.i feel like lacuna has become a lot stronger in both the workspace and community-front in the last year or so too. the kavatenders all have such a warm and positive energy and always make me feel special when i come in. it’s nice seeing management interacting with customers and staff more too. it’s nice overhearing the positive feedback from management to staff (or staff to staff , and hearing the conversations that the staff members have with guests. there just seems to be a lot more connection overall. lacuna is growing and glowing for sure. <3the price increase is a bit of a bummer, but in a time with inflation… what can you really do? i personally TRUST lacuna with their product and that’s what keeps me coming back. i know they put both quality and care into their products and it really reflects. it can be a pretty penny if you’re getting multiple drinks, but fancy craft cocktails at a regular bar can be the same way. plus, my points add up so quickly i get pretty frequent discounts with their reward system. it’s not the end of the world!i appreciate the subtle changes in the bar layout and decor too. even the little things keep it feeling fresh and a little new each time you come in.the *only* “negative” thing i have to say about the space is that it can be difficult to order a drink or close out a tab sometimes. there’s rushes and it gets busy, but sometimes it feels as if one staff member just isn’t enough during these times. sometimes there’s not a lot of communication about this either between staff and people trying to close out, but i’ve been coming here for awhile now so i know what to expect. if you’re in a time crunch, just give yourself a little buffer or cushion of time to get closed out (or order to go right off the bat and close out immediately .all things considered, though, 5 stars all the way around! lacuna is an ever-evolving, ever-growing spot and i’m excited to see what the future looks like for you guys! : bulaaaa!!!!"
