"You might not expect exceptional food from a bar, but Ryan's on York definitely serves the best! Never judge a book by its cover. Everything I had was absolutely delicious. I chose a meal from the weekly specials, starting with fried green beans as an appetizer and then enjoying the steak and mashed potatoes for my main course. "We're just in town for the weekend and were looking for a fish fry. Saw good reviews for here, so we gave it a try. The service was excellent. Even though our server had several tables, she checked on us several times during the meal. The fish fry was okay, not bad don't get me wrong, but it was not amazing. And there was no coleslaw, which is a must for me. The portion for the single Lake Perch was big, I can't imagine eating a double! Kid-friendliness: There's no real kids menu, but we made it work for our kids. The servers were kind, and didn't mind that we had small kids. Some places have an attitude about that, but the Elbow Room was great."

The patio is the only place diners can eat outdoors. Smokers can smoke anywhere. They desperately need a policy.
