"Here's my assessment. Take from it what you will. Drink order was brought out quickly, but wrong. no plates for the salsa and chips, which makes for a very messy snacking experience. I ordered a $15 triple combo, a beef quesadilla, a hard beef taco no lettuce (I'm allergic), and a soft beef taco no lettuce. What was brought out was a hard beef taco no lettuce (which wasn't bad, but wasn't worth anywhere near $5), a beef soft taco that was so piled with soggy lettuce that it was swimming in the lettuce juice. Idk what the third thing was, but it was openfaced, piled with tomatoes, and on a crunchy shell. So whatever tf it was, by definition, it was not a quesadilla. It's as if our server stopped listening halfway through my order. He got one item right, one item halfway right, and then tuned out and guessed on the third If you got a $5 tip tonight, then this message is for you. It's sad cuz they used to have really good food and service. I'm very picky about my mexican food, but they used to be really really good. The Mrs. thought that her enchilada supreme was ok and the kid loved her chicken strips and fries (but she loves everybody's chicken strips and fries). We won't be returning."

My rating is only due to service at the bar last night about 5:30. Margarita was watered down and not the same quality it’s been in past. The main issue was the Bartender and attitude. He was not pleasant and we never received chips and salsa. Very disappointed due to this being our FAVORITE LOCATION AND knowing the quality of service we usually receive is a 10! Very disappointed last night View menu

Always a great time and amazing food at El Vaquero! Vegetarian options: I'm not sure of seafood qualified as vegetarian. For me it does and that's what I normally get when I eat Mexican. They have meals without any meat though that are also very tasty. Dietary restrictions: They're very willing to accommodate anything, just make sure to request ot and let your server know. Parking: We got a great spot last time we went, but there were so many options! Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu, and it's hard to beat their food. It's delicious and the chips salsa are always a hit. The atmosphere is so fun too, the kids think it's a real treat whenever we go here! Wheelchair accessibility: It's h...

I had an amazing lunch experience! As soon as we walked in, a friendly hostess warmly greeted us and promptly showed us to our seats. The restaurant had a vibrant and clean Mexican decor that made the atmosphere very inviting. Our server greeted us right away and brought us some refreshing water while we perused the drink menu. We decided on jumbo peach and raspberry margaritas on the rocks, and they were absolutely delicious perfectly balanced and full of flavor. I ordered the chicken fajitas, and my dining partner had the barbacoa tacos, both of which were expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. From the moment we entered to the moment we left, we were thoroughly impressed by the impec...

"Date night Saturday night. Our reservation was for 7pm, but we were falling asleep, so luckily they were able to accommodate at 6:15. : Only a few tables were occupied. Tall ceilings, nice ambiance, would have maybe liked some additional lighting such as candle light (or faux candle light . The weather outside was lovely and they opened the doors which gave way to French doors with iron railing. they were pretty! Our server mentions that the menu changes pretty frequently so we may not see on the menu what we read online. Fine by me, as you know from my reviews, I 'm always up for a food adventure. I had a gin based cocktail which tasted balanced. Spring Mushroom Mousseline, Pistachio and Drunken Fruit with Date Pecan bread. Mousseline served in a glass votive like ramekin (much like you 'd see foie , was tasty, creamy, albeit a little gritty from the pistachios. The bread came like a small loaf, almost precut (could have been sliced all the way through , with macerated cherry/cranberry compote. For a vegetarian option like foie, we were pleased and ate the entire portion. Scotch Olives with Saffron Aioli. These olives were HOT. No joke. A bit of, could you please blow on this before I burn my tongue? But, they were briny on the inside, with a perfectly coated fried crunch outside, and so yum once the heat dissipated. Nice touch on the aioli. Only 4 of them unfortunately... that 's 2.25 each! Rosemary Grilled Lamb Chops with Seedy Broccolini Salad with Cherries. Wood grilled carrots and pomegranate molasses. $39. Nice presentation. Crunchy but soft carrots, broccolini cooked perfectly. Seemed a bit on the small side as far as meat goes. Two double lollipops. Cooked perfect, and beautiful gamey taste, just not too much bang for the buck. Grilled Sturgeon, warm rice salad, fiddlehead ferns, snap peas. Not a fan of the glaze ontop, the fish portion was fine, but lackluster. I 'm a huge sucker for fiddlehead ferns, and I also know that they can be overcooked within seconds, which these were just slightly overcooked, lacked the snap in your teeth you get from a bright green cooked correctly one. Oh well. With everything in one bite, it was good, just not amazing. We shared the Mexican hot chocolate warm brownie/cake in a cup. The foam was nice, but the inside really reminded me of a fudgy cake you can buy in the grocery store, add water, and nuke in the microwave. Next time, happy to go back just for drinks and apps. Skip the more expensive main courses on their menu."
