"I am changing my review from 1 star to 5 because the service has returned to its former quality. They must have replaced that manager who was there before because we haven't had any issues since then. Keep up the great work! I truly enjoy Gino's pizza, so it was frustrating to leave my original review, but the service was simply unacceptable. We ordered a specialty pizza twice, and both times they got the order wrong. The second time, when we asked for a replacement pizza, the manager had the audacity to refuse! I've been a customer here for over 20 years, so it's hard to believe she said that. All I expected was for them to correct their mistake."

The pizza was delicious, not at all greasy, and quite affordable too.

Gino's has the best pizza in Toledo. It is a must have every time I'm in town.

The food is great! I really love the strawberry cake, and my husband is a big fan of the pizza.

Wife's first experience with Gino's was a hit! She said the pizza had tons of cheese! I hadn't had Gino's since the late 90's and it was just as I remembered. An extensive toppings menu means there is literally something for EVERYONE!

I've never found another pizza in the world that I love as much as Gino's. I try not to eat it too often, otherwise other pizza starts to taste terrible in comparison. Their sauce is incredible and they put so much cheese on there that ordering extra cheese isn't even something that comes to mind. The crust is delicious. As for the service and the atmosphere, it's kind of become a dive compared to like 10 years ago. However, it's still better than any other pizza in any price point so you will never catch me complaining. View menu

This location is better than all the others. The pizza was excellent and I'm a expert on pizza it's been one of my favorite things since I was a kid.I travel for my job 9 months out a year every place I go I make sure to try to find the best pizza in that city. Now Original Geno's is not on the level of say Geno's east In Chicago or Pizzapapalis in Detroit also in Toledo. However if you wanna have pizza night with the family and don't want to do the tired Pizza hut,Little Caesars etc try Original Genos on Monroe in Toledo Ohio....

This is NOT the same Gino's Pizza that was once famous worldwide. I typically order a deluxe pizza loaded with toppings, but recently I decided to go for something simpler, like a classic pepperoni pizza. To my surprise, I received an old, dry, and stale pizza that seemed like it had been sitting around long enough to be tossed out. It was terrible! I couldn't help but think, "This used to be the best pizza place in the world, and now it's the absolute worst." It's unbelievable! I felt like my loyalty was taken for granted. Beware, everyone!

"Date night Saturday night. Our reservation was for 7pm, but we were falling asleep, so luckily they were able to accommodate at 6:15. : Only a few tables were occupied. Tall ceilings, nice ambiance, would have maybe liked some additional lighting such as candle light (or faux candle light . The weather outside was lovely and they opened the doors which gave way to French doors with iron railing. they were pretty! Our server mentions that the menu changes pretty frequently so we may not see on the menu what we read online. Fine by me, as you know from my reviews, I 'm always up for a food adventure. I had a gin based cocktail which tasted balanced. Spring Mushroom Mousseline, Pistachio and Drunken Fruit with Date Pecan bread. Mousseline served in a glass votive like ramekin (much like you 'd see foie , was tasty, creamy, albeit a little gritty from the pistachios. The bread came like a small loaf, almost precut (could have been sliced all the way through , with macerated cherry/cranberry compote. For a vegetarian option like foie, we were pleased and ate the entire portion. Scotch Olives with Saffron Aioli. These olives were HOT. No joke. A bit of, could you please blow on this before I burn my tongue? But, they were briny on the inside, with a perfectly coated fried crunch outside, and so yum once the heat dissipated. Nice touch on the aioli. Only 4 of them unfortunately... that 's 2.25 each! Rosemary Grilled Lamb Chops with Seedy Broccolini Salad with Cherries. Wood grilled carrots and pomegranate molasses. $39. Nice presentation. Crunchy but soft carrots, broccolini cooked perfectly. Seemed a bit on the small side as far as meat goes. Two double lollipops. Cooked perfect, and beautiful gamey taste, just not too much bang for the buck. Grilled Sturgeon, warm rice salad, fiddlehead ferns, snap peas. Not a fan of the glaze ontop, the fish portion was fine, but lackluster. I 'm a huge sucker for fiddlehead ferns, and I also know that they can be overcooked within seconds, which these were just slightly overcooked, lacked the snap in your teeth you get from a bright green cooked correctly one. Oh well. With everything in one bite, it was good, just not amazing. We shared the Mexican hot chocolate warm brownie/cake in a cup. The foam was nice, but the inside really reminded me of a fudgy cake you can buy in the grocery store, add water, and nuke in the microwave. Next time, happy to go back just for drinks and apps. Skip the more expensive main courses on their menu."
