"Just a totally relaxing, well served, fully flavored evening. We were able to snag an outdoor table on a clear slightly breezy evening. Drinks came timely, then the wilted arugula salad, perfect. Oh, even the bread was satisfying! Then, the chickpea crusted halibut and braised short ribs floated into our view. Oh, man, they were both perfectly prepared, and we had to breathe deep to slow down and enjoy the perfect mix of flavors. We look forward to the next time! If you haven’t been, go for the first time, you’ll be amazed"

"I went yesterday with family for lunch. The last time I was here was four years ago and this time was much better. It’s a nice atmosphere lots of natural light and there is an enclosed warmed patio outside. I had the halibut and chips 2-piece. It’s been the best halibut and chips I’ve had in a year or two. Nice beer batter, light fish and tartar sauce was perfect. Our sever Tilly was very nice and did a great job taking care of us. I would recommend visiting if you are in Gig Harbor."

"Really exceptional service, the owner was so sweet and helpful. The spicy ramen w gyoza was well seasoned and had tons of veggies which is always a plus. The warm soup was the perfect balm after a long day. The spicy chicken teriyaki w rice and salad was enough for two meals honestly, the chicken was tender and flavorful. I would recommend this true mom and pop joint to anyone looking for a casual and homey meal."

"The Brussels sprouts were excellent as well. They were boiled just right, retaining their texture without becoming mushy. The outer layer had a hint of crispness from frying, while the inner layers remained tender but sturdy enough not to fall apart on the fork. The vinaigrette complemented the dish nicely, enhancing the flavor profile. Even without a heavy dressing, the sprouts were well-prepared, lacking the off-putting smells that often deter people from trying them. The Hawaiian fried rice was fantastic. The rice was cooked perfectly—tender yet still had a pleasant texture. The flavor combinations in the fried rice were superbly balanced. Even with the addition of spam and bacon, it wasn't overly salty. The touch of pineapple and corn provided just enough sweetness to tie all the flavors together, while allowing each element to shine on its own. The variety of textures added depth to the dish. If you're torn between craving a burger or something Asian-inspired, this place has become a one-stop shop for both!"

"I came in for a simple coffee and a salad, and the cashier up feont was an ANGEL, there was a line so far behind me they could reach louisiana if we'll joined our hands! This angel looked absolutely bombarded from all sides, and there was only her! Back in my day restaurants were a team.THEN when i finally get my meal (which with the amount of people there were in that area you would assume it would be quick), i didnt have a fork, so i ask this young lady with frizzy red hair if i could get a fork and she ROLLED HER EYES AT ME. If she were my children, or even my GRANDCHILDREN she wouldve gotten the lecture the Lord would be impressed by. The only good part of that service was the cashier, and unless i see her there i will NOT be going again Lord willing."
