"Experience started well with a knowledgeable and helpful server helping us to pick food and drink options. After the first round of food and drinks arrived on time it would be 20-30 minutes after finishing our food without a sign of our waitress. We finally stood up and had to go inside to find our waitress and request help. After another 5-10min of waiting, a separate staff member came to help and we put in another order of food and drinks. We continued to wait another 20minutes until our food came out, now having spent more time waiting then eating or drinking. None of the waitresses or waiters seemed to express any apologies for the amount of time we waited, either out of lack of care or unknowing. Finally, now late for an event we had scheduled after the dinner, we had to ask for the check on two separate occasions, again with no apologies from the staff. We quickly left having no time to argue or raise our issues with the staff. Will not be returning and urge others not to visit if you are in any time crunch for events after dinner/drinks. Overall, food and drinks were of good quality but the wait times certainly made this visit an experience I won’t be returning to. I was able to write this at the end of the meal while waiting for the check to express how frustrating and untimely this experience was."

Great little spot for an afternoon happy hour. They have a front patio , backyard patio, and indoors, and service can get a little slow if people are in all three areas, so don 't come here in a hurry. But if you have time to just sit and enjoy and people watch, it 's a wonderful spot! View menu

Amazing vibes. Great little wine spot to sit with friends and chat. Eclectic design, very cozy. Tre happy hour is great and the wine selection is solid. There is an outdoor patio, bar seating, and some chairs with tables inside. I love the vibes it’s very chill. For the cheese plate only get cheeses the meats offered weren’t great.

Popped in for a cocktail after a visit to the Whitney. Lucky us, we got a table for two in the basement bar area. Chill, low key vibes were welcomed, especially in this area. And they had a happy hour on a Saturday. We chose cocktails off that list, but nice to know! They have an upstairs spot too that has more living room vibes. Would definitely come back again!

I have been coming to Entwine for a couple months now. It is my favorite bar in the city. the decor is beautiful, the drinks are amazing, and service fantastic. All the people that work there like Didi, Serda, Arthur, Teresa, Emercan, Chevy, Sarah, Aiden, and Dylan are wonderful people and like a family. A lot of west village regulars come in as well. I came out for a business trip two months ago and never went back. Moved to new york partly because of all the people in this bar. View menu

Cute vibe in winter and summer with outdoor seating in the front and back (preferred). Inside is cozy and reminiscent of a lovely English pub.Only downside was how long it took to get our drinks and the server bringing out our order with missing drinks, a few times. It took awhile and so we only managed to get one round in for happy hour for an entire hour. The bartender seemed fine inside (not packed and not slammed making drinks).I'd give them another shot but would hope for a better service next time!

Met a family member here for some cocktails on a weekday evening while visiting NYC. GREAT spot for happy hour in the West Village! The happy hour menu featured a bunch of classic cocktails at $10/each a bargain for this part of town and a well made cocktail. After a first round, and happy hour 's end, we ordered full priced cocktails off of the regular menu. These were much more 'speciality ' cocktails than classics. Both the classic and the specialty cocktails were delicious well balanced, beautifully presented, perfectly cold. The gin specialty cocktail with dill was a real winner. Service was welcoming and attentive. Atmosphere was great: diverse crowd, great little bar upstairs and a ba...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
