"Fish cheeks was a great find as we discovered the SOHO district. We absolutely loved the cobblestone street as we approached the restaurant. We didn’t have reservations but the hostess quickly made accommodations for us even bright it was packed. After being seated we were made comfortable and high the highest level of customer service. I asked about the menu as a first timer and began ordering from the suggested “fan favorites”. It did not disappoint!!The shrimp appetizer was full of flavor and quite spicy but I enjoyed every bit of it. If you don’t like spicy, the shrimp as extravagant if scrapped off. Lastly the steamed fish was fresh, full of flavor and dare I say “IMPECCABLE”. I can’t wait to give this place a revisit and try EVERYTHING on their menu. You’re gonna love this place, I guarantee. ???"

Great tasting food in a chic restaurant setting. Can be very busy so make reservations! Also it can be loud inside when busy. The prices are very reasonable for both the food and drinks. Good place for lunch or dinner or if you are just craving Thai.Food: 5/5

Probably the best Thai food I’ve ever had in New York. Service was impeccable, dishes fresh, fragrant and spicy. Having said that, even the most delicious food can’t be fully appreciated if it smells like a dog. Well, to be exact, food smelled wonderful, however, the dog sitting under the next table didn’t, infusing the atmosphere with its aroma.I will definitely go back to try the other dishes. Hopefully, the dog won’t be there. View menu

The steamed fish was beautifully prepared with fresh, boneless meat. The coconut curry crab had a smaller portion than anticipated, but it had a great flavor with the crab melding well with the curry. However, the tom yum was not to my liking due to an overpowering sweetness and vinegar taste that masked the other flavors. Two major dislikes were the loud atmosphere and the server bringing the bill to our table while we were still eating.

Came on a Saturday afternoon and was immediately seated and taken care of despite how busy it was. Ordered the oysters and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of them. Ordered the crab curry and my s.o. ordered a special for that day (pork chops in a spicy broth). I was skeptical of the portion size because I am someone that inhales food. But, the portions were filling and everything lived up to their expectations. I’d definitely return again to try out another dish.

This place was legittttt. A bit pricy but the food was quite good. Ordered a range of good but the winners you must get are the coconut crab curry, the crab fried rice and the steamed fish. The curry was nice and spiced and super creamy. The crab fried rice was my favorite and came with two addictive and flavorful Thai sauces. The steamed fish is a generous portion and is great with the white rice. Our staff was super nice and helpful in navigating the menu also was super attentive. The interior was nice and the vibe was great Sat night and it was popping!Definitely a great date night spot will be back! View menu

FANTASTIC spot!! Will be coming back to try the rest of the menu! Amazing service and staff. Food was brought out promptly and presentation was 10/10. Must stop for happy hour! I don’t think I can ever go back to eating shrimp any other way! The shrimp in crab sauce is a MUST try! With just the perfect kick in spice with the bird’s eye chili, and the lime cilantro sauce base was a party for the pallet! The pork belly pad kaprow didn’t last 10 minutes on the table! Also if you’re feeling adventurous- the Ya Dong Party shots were phenomenal! The pandan ice tea chaser was to die for! Will definitely be coming back!

Definitely lives up to the hype! Hadn’t gone because it’s a little hard to get a reservation day of. But they do save seats for walk ins. The hostess said there was a 45 minute wait but then offered the bar and sat us immediately which was a great surprise! We got the lobster plaa, wings and their signature coconut crab curry. All were delicious. The lobster was very spicy but so many flavors. The wings were so good, dry rub, and I’m not even a wing person but they were so crispy and delicious! The coconut crab had so much crab in it and the rice cooled it down a bit. The staff was so sweet, fun and informative! Would definitely go back! Don’t be discouraged if you can’t get a reservation. "We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
