"The service was poor at first; with only two other tables occupied, it took nearly 10 minutes for our waitress to come over and bring us water, as well as take our drink order. Fortunately, things improved after that. We enjoyed the arugula salad, meatballs, and two pizzas, all of which were quite good."

Long wait for table despite reservation. Out of sparkling bottled water. Pizza oven is great but pizzas could have stayed a bit longer becoming more crisp. Service friendly but not very attentive. Great cobb salad. Very thoughtful bartender. View menu

This restaurant is now closed. We received an email from OpenTable indicating that they are no longer associated with this restaurant. When I called the phone number provided, the representative informed me that the Williamsburg location has shut down.

The service started off poorly – with only two other tables occupied, it took nearly 10 minutes for our waitress to come by with water and take our drink order. Fortunately, things improved from that point on. We enjoyed the arugula salad, meatballs, and two pizzas, all of which were quite good.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
