The best sushi restaurant in Middle Tennessee! The sashimi is incredibly fresh. I absolutely love the Garzilla Roll, Crazy Tuna Roll, Osaka Roll, and especially the Crazy Friday Roll. The best value is the Boat for 2. The customer service is fantastic. It's my favorite restaurant in my hometown, and the lunch specials are very affordable.

We discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant by chance, and it was a delightful surprise! We dined here about two months ago, and we haven't been able to stop thinking about it since! If you love nigiri and sashimi, the best sushi rolls and the freshest fish, you have got to try Fujiuama. Highly recommend the Russ Roll and the Crazy Tuna Rolls. If you need a bit of fire under it, so it won't be confused with your fishing bait (haha) try the Garzilla Roll. Of the cooked rolls, it is an excellent choice that everyone will enjoy. Fujiyama's is one of our finest restaurants in Columbia. Makes a meal a very special occasion.

The seaweed salad was frozen, had a bad odor and unpleasant taste. The sushi did not smell fresh, did not have good flavor and was super rubbery. They put slices of lemon between the fish as if trying to mask something. Ive never seen that before. The wontons in the soup were okay but the broth tasted like it was loaded down with pepper. I took one bite of everything except the wontons in the soup and threw the rest away. I try not to ever leave bad reviews, and maybe they were just having an off night, but this was terrible. The sashimi here is the best you’ll find in Middle Tennessee, especially south of Nashville. Fujiyama’s beautifully captures a slice of Asian culture while offering healthy dining options.
