"The food is decent enough but the customer service leaves much to be desired. I have ordered delivery here on two previous occasions and the driver was discourteous both times. Most recently I placed an order through Seamless and received a call from the restaurant stating my driver would not deliver my order because I did not leave a tip. I intended to tip in cash, and have tipped every time I ordered from this establishment. That said, I have never had an experience like this where I am being demanded a tip. I paid for my food and delivery service, period. That was wildly unprofessional and I promptly canceled my order and wont be ordering here again."

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, and I'm thrilled to have found it so close to my home! Plus, they offer delivery as well.

I sometimes order takeout and I always appreciate how truly spicy the food is! Many places don't actually provide enough heat, but this is my favorite spot. I absolutely love spicy food!

This place has the best Naan ever. The food is amazing it was so warm and comforting. The place is small but cozy and you can bring your own wine. The service was great the staff was super friendly and helpful.Food: 5/5 View menu

It wasn’t good, descriptions said “fresh vegetables” in house curry it was frozen veggies in a tomato sauce. The samosas were soooo dry and a really dark brown, tasted like they’ve been deep fried multiple times. Would not recommend

I absolutely adore Gandhi. Their specials, such as the daily curry lunchbox, are fantastic. The food is consistently delicious and prepared quickly. The portions are generous. It's a wonderful restaurant and I feel fortunate to have it in the neighborhood.

We were encouraged by good reviewed but unfortunately got disappointed in the end! We ordered samosas, naan, a paneer dish and malai kofta (take out). Samosas did not seem freshly made and had a burnt flavor (perhaps heavily reused oil for deep frying). Both paneer dish and malai kofta was sweet and not very flavorful. Naan came soggy but that could have been a result of it being delivered. Overall, would not recommend. View menu

This restaurant used to be a favorite of mine, but unfortunately, it has gone downhill since 2020/2021. The garlic Naan no longer has enough butter and is overloaded with chunks of garlic. The samosas are now too salty and lack flavor in the tikka masala sauce. Everything seems to be overly salty. I'm not sure if the chef has changed or if something else has happened, but it's really disappointing. I would give it a 2/5 rating at best. I may speak to the staff in person to see how they respond to my feedback.

Gandhi is a unique restaurant where you can dine with a diverse group of people. The food is delicious, catering to all dietary preferences including vegan, lacto, carnivore, and pescavore. I personally enjoy their saag paneer, coconut soup, curries, and everything else on the menu. The owners, Karki and Sharad, are friendly and accommodating, willing to make adjustments for allergies and preferences. My ex, my wife, and my Friday dinner group all love this place. The only downside is its small size, although we have managed to accommodate a party of 10 for dinner. For great food at reasonable prices in Brooklyn, Gandhi is the place to go.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
