"Garden Bistro is a hidden gem at Oglebay Park. Tucked in the back of a building near the amphitheater, it has lovely views of the gardens at the park. Access is via either many stairs or a steep slope or a long walk. But the restaurant can send a golf cart to the parking lot just call ahead and let them know. Food was very good, but serving portions were quite small. And, for the prices were quite high for the portion size (for instance, I added a crab cake to my salad for $6. The crab cake was about 3 inches across. . If you’re a bigger eater, I recommend the everything bagel sandwich or the burger. They seemed more substantial. Highly recommend that you sit outside and enjoy the view."

The view and ambiance at Garden Bistro are worth the trip! It's such a pleasant place to have lunch or dinner or just a really delicious and refreshing peach sangria. Server Debbie is also the best there is! The flatbread special on the day of my visit was delicious: with peaches, plums, mozzarella and a balsamic drizzle.

Really enjoyed eating at the Garden Bistro. The view for sunset is fantastic. The cocktails are inspired really liked The Mountaineer with the blueberry shrub. I got the crab cakes and they were very flavorful and filling. The service was great. We didn’t feel rushed yet everything was prompt. Ended up coming back a few days later for girls night!
