"Been here a few times over the last week. I had an average experience. The service while picking up has been poor. The cooks barking over the counter seems unnecessary, you feel rushed and unwelcome. The food is fine. I had the chicken Marsala, Godfather sub, chicken cutlet sub, veal Parm sub, sweet potato fries and mozzarella sticks. The godfather sub was honestly my favorite, just an improved Italian sub.. The veal was chewy. Chicken cutlet sub was ok, the broccoli rabe stems need to be picked out or something, they were a low point. Overall they were just fine. The unique dishes will likely bring me back though I don't think anything has particularly well executed."

Absolutely loved this place! Such a low key spot off the Ave to date a date for a nice romantic dinner and the food is fantastic! Highly recommend

The stuffed shells were the best I've ever tasted. My wife ordered the baked ziti, and it was excellent as well! The portions were enormous, so we had plenty of leftovers for the following day.

We dined in and had a great experience. I ordered the stuffed shells, my sister chose the chicken parmesan, and the kid had chicken fingers with fries. Everything was delicious, and I would definitely return. View menu

I absolutely love Gennaro's! The food is fantastic, and the staff is wonderful. For dinner, the price per person ranges from $10 to $20. I would rate the food a perfect 5, service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well.

For my vegetarian friend, the spaghetti with marinara was a hit, and I imagine they might also have eggplant parmesan on the menu. Overall, I had dinner here and found the prices to be very reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying the mozzarella sticks!

My friends and I decided to explore a new dining option today, and we randomly picked Gennaro's for lunch. What a fantastic choice it turned out to be! The club sandwiches—both turkey and tuna—were fantastic, and the chicken fingers and onion rings were big hits as well. The coleslaw and homemade potato chips were also incredibly tasty. Our waitress, Mary, along with co-owner Akimo, were wonderfully accommodating. You can be sure we'll be back! #budgetfriendly #familyfriendly #economical

"Upon entering, I was greeted with a rather unfriendly reception from the young women behind the counter. The restaurant has a few tables, some booths, and a small sushi bar with four seats. Everything appeared clean, albeit a bit cluttered with supplies. I chose a booth that was already set up, enjoying the quiet atmosphere. After a few minutes, I finally received a menu and was able to place my drink order; the staff member seemed to warm up a bit as I settled in. I noticed they were quite busy fulfilling to-go orders, which explained the initial lack of attentiveness. The menu offers a good selection of Japanese, Chinese, and other Asian dishes. I ordered a Maki combo, which included three assorted rolls, a bowl of Miso soup, and a garden salad with ginger dressing. The Miso soup was delicious and served in a generous bowl, prompting me to order a pint to take with me. The salad was your typical Iceberg lettuce with ginger dressing, nothing surprising there. The three Maki rolls were impressive in size, each with its own distinct flavor, and came with a satisfying amount of ginger and wasabi. I also added a Philly and California roll, which were perfectly portioned. Overall, my experience turned out to be surprisingly pleasant despite the initial hurdles. The pricing, portion sizes, and presentation exceeded my expectations. I truly enjoyed my visit and will definitely return when I’m in the area again."
