"Newly moved to Columbia, I was out to explore and eat the scene for a drink. I passed by Gervais and Vine and thought it would be a good opportunity to try a new place and gamble to me if I both took care of it for the night. It turned out to be a great choice as I had an extremely enjoyable evening orchestrated by my waiter Josh and boss Jeff. Both gentlemen were very pleasant, personal and had an obvious passion for their jobs shown in the services provided. They deserve special recognition. The wines and dishes I tried at Josh’s suggestion were all delicious and the vibes in the atmosphere were perfect to distract my mind from the working day. From Charleston SC I came nervous about not having any experience that would compare with what I used, but Gervais and Vine represented Columbia well and made me feel at home in a foreign country. I recommend an attempt. I feel confident that you will remain as impressed."

I love little plates. They take online reservations, and their service is excellent. We had the Red White Wine Flight, the Scallops and the Greek pizza. Overall it would recommend.

A good friend I went to Gervais Vine for an early, light dinner. It was my first visit. I enjoyed the atmosphere, tapas, especially the wine. The waiter was kind, courteous, knowledgeable. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to have a good conversation a light bite, I would recommend!

we went for my daughters graduation. we had a reservation but had to wait 30 minutes before we were seated, with the restaurant only half full. they were out of many food options which was from a limited menu to begin with. The service was absolutely horrible!!!!! The place was dirty. We had to continually ask for water refills, bread etc. Would not recommend this place!!! View menu

although the restaurant was not busy, our waiter offered a terrible service. After taking our drinks order, he was so slow to come back that we had to ask someone else about our food. when the waiter brought our food, he neglected to bring some of the dishes we had ordered. we found out that he had not submitted any orders for eating at all. avoid this restaurant it was a bad experience.

We had reservations at 5:15pm to celebrate college graduation. As soon as we were seated, we began to order. We had 7 people and when we had received the check and were paying, one of the managers came to ask us if we werei about to leave since they had more reservations for that table. She was very nice but I was shocked she asked us without asking our server. Not a good way to end our dining experience that night and our bill was about $400 and we were never sitting there without eating.
