"Food was decent but not excited. Definitely had better bbq many other places. Mac and cheese was tasty. Broccoli was good. Chicken was average. Husband’s pulled pork bbq was mediocre and fries were very plain. Nachos were large but Taco Bell style. Device was fest but they were definitely trying to move people in and out. Super loud on the strip."

what is the point to have several different types of BBQ sauce on the table when the kitchen becomes to lubricate the ribs with BBQ sauce. the ribs were also a little hard. the macaroni and the cheese were cold when they were brought to the table.

Very disappointed in the brisket fillet. Took guests for the first time, talked up the brisket, we all received tough-chewy meat! Nothing like our previous experience. Not to mention the dry hamburger, cold fries and bland macaroni and cheese. Sorry, let down. View menu

The Margaritas were good but that was about it. My husband had the brisket which he said was dry. A friend and I had the Southern Fried Chicken which was mostly breaded bones and the coating was so tough you didn't know if you were eating a bone or breading. You can skip this place.

The food was good. A little pricey but that’s Vegas. I ordered the Brisket “filet” which was a thick cut brisket with fries and broccolini. It was very tasty. Not Smokey but still good. The broccolini was excellent but had to eat it before it got cold. Overall good food, I’d go again.

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
