The shining diamond in this quite little place with a flowing stream in the backyard : the ice cream was delicious respite on June summer day for the body and the cool breeze on the stream is equally soothing for the soul. The stuff is sweet and the setup is inviting!

1st time in the 7 years I’ve been placing orders for take-out and was disappointed. Tried to place a request for a double side of bacon and the response was “we can’t do that. It would take too long on the grill when we have other orders”. What????? When I’ve been placing the same request bi-monthly for years and have always been served. Unbelievable.

Don’t expect good service if you’re coming here. 2nd time I decided to stop by for lunch and they’re not very welcoming. snippy and in a rush. I get it they get busy but should still remain kind. 2nd time around I missed the food window. Which I wasn’t aware of, doesn’t mention it online either. Apparently they stop serving food around 2pm on weekdays and only serve ice cream. I was standing there like an idiot. They saw me and passed by me multiple times before I decided to ask. From Louisiana… food is life …. Good food with friends is always a must GRONSKYS DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! We sat at the bar in front of the grill Chris the grill master was phenomenal! Fresh food , great conversation and the taste of the food was amazing! Comfort food reminiscent of childhood memories at grandparents home! I recommend 100% go any and all! You won’t be disappointed! If you go as a couple, the tables are so small that the massive portions—many meals are served on two plates—won't even fit. Dining outside is somewhat pleasant, but again, the table situation is a nightmare. The counter might seem like a decent option, but they use part of it as a workspace, which is not ideal. As someone in the food industry, I can tell you that watching this culinary artistry unfold isn’t exactly pretty. I really want to give this place 500,000 stars for taste and portion size, but the uncomfortable seating means I can't give it a perfect rating. Still, I highly recommend you visit! It's truly incredible.

We drove 20 minutes based on positive reviews, excited to enjoy pancakes with our small children to celebrate the last day before school starts. However, we were informed that we couldn’t order breakfast and sit outside, despite there being plenty of open tables and people already dining outside. We didn’t expect table service; we simply wanted to order our food and take it outside. When we asked if we could eat inside and take any leftovers to go, they said no and that they would throw the food away. Unfortunately, this experience left my 3 and 5-year-old in tears and very disappointed. We are truly disheartened by the lack of hospitality at this restaurant. View menu

I went here to try this place as the review is decent. It is a nice location with lakeside in the back. I asked the lady in front if they serve outside by lakeside? She said they only serve the front patio and asked for how many so I said for 2 and I have a dog. We sat outside and waited, After few minutes and no one seems to be coming to take our order, I approached the lady again and she said only in this specific area that we serve. To calm the children down, we stepped outside. I returned to the restaurant to clarify that we just wanted to have breakfast at one of their tables outside. That’s when their behavior took a turn for the worse. I asked again if we could order a regular breakfast and just have it in a to-go container to eat outside, but the now very uneasy staff member reiterated that only sandwiches could be taken to go. I pressed for an explanation, and the chef abruptly shouted that the grill wasn't big enough for that. I couldn't understand the logic—if the grill was large enough for people sitting inside, why not for us outside? When I asked about ordering breakfast and then wanting a to-go container if...

Honestly another place where we were left thinking “what is the hype with this place too that everyone loves around here?” My husband walked in and asked how long the wait is. He was told about 30-40 minutes. (Obviously because there are only about 7 tables that are right on top of each other and they don’t even use half the tables outside. We thought ok it’s always going to be that long because as it gets later the wait will be even longer. So we decided to go for it and come back when we were called.
