"A completely great experience. It has it all you can ask for! It is a small place, but color with decorations from top to bottom full of The Beatles merch. Don't expect to get a table right away, so I suggest coming when they open; otherwise, be prepared to wait. Good for a pair, bad for a group visit. What makes this place special is their skews; everything from their skews section is worth your time and money. I highly recommend an old fashion beef skew if you're looking for suggestion. Don't count skews as your only dish for they're quite pricey. The waitress will suggest you order their ramen with your skews, which are good ramen by the way. Waitress in particular is quite the good worker, she will be very helpful with new people in understanding the menu and give you a good time in your stay. She kind, patient, and attentive to the guests; plus, the place is small enough that you can just holler for her attention to your table. Great food, service, and environment; however, a small place so except waiting outside. There is beers to choose from, but I've encountered times where a certain beer is out. Great place, go check it out!"

Very tasty Yakitori. Reminded me of Kyoto!

This is my favorite restaurant in San Francisco. The yakitori is extremely authentic, the service is excellent, and the decor has a charmingly kitschy vibe. Every time I eat here, it reminds me of my time in Tokyo.

The wait is definitely worth it! Just add your name to the list and grab a beer at either Richmond or High Treason nearby. The Plum Chicken and Asparagus dishes are especially fantastic! I can't wait to return to this amazing Rock 'n' Roll themed yakitori restaurant!

Absolutely love it here! We put our name on the list at about 7:45 on a Friday night and had a 30 min wait, which is fine because there are several bar near by and they keep you updated on timing via text. The place is a little cramped, but that really does add to the charm. The food is authentic, fast, and delicious, we ate tapas style and kept adding on to our order as we went. The 60’s background music is fun and the staff are really friendly too. Very reasonably priced, dinner for 2 including beer was $65 View menu

Shockingly delicious. I’ve been to other yakitori places in SF and Kyoto in Japan and this is the best. I can’t believe it. I was hopeful, but this place exceeds expectations. I’d recommend the beef belly for sure. The bacon wrapped tomatoes are also killer. Round it out with some mushrooms and the chicken as well as a nice sake. You will love it! Oh ya, the line can be quite long so put in your name and phone number and go across the street to Richmond Republic for a pint while you wait for a text that your table is ready.

This restaurant may be small, but it’s always bustling with energy! I really enjoyed the lively atmosphere. The service was exceptional! The food was decent, but I found it a bit overpriced for what you get. Each skewer costs between $6 and $16, with vegetables on the lower end and meats on the higher end. The best meat I tried was the gyu-toro, which was $11. I wouldn’t recommend the Chashu Veggie Ramen, priced at $18 a bowl. I was also not a fan of the fried Omakase, and I usually love fried food. Overall, it was a nice meal, especially with great company. Thank you for making me feel like I was in Japan for a moment!

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
