"I don’t understand how this place has nearly five-star ratings. I’ve never met anyone who has actually eaten here and enjoyed it. The food is hardly palatable. We spent about $70 on takeout, and the only thing we didn’t end up throwing away was the white rice. Even the fortune cookies were stale. The sauces were gelatinous, the meat was chewy and grainy, and every entrée had a slimy texture and an unpleasant taste. This is the second time we've given this restaurant a chance, and it will definitely be the last. I find it hard to believe that these glowing reviews aren’t being inflated... unless Happy Buddha has a secret menu that they don’t advertise—perhaps that’s where the edible food is hiding?"

Happy Buddha offers the best Asian cuisine I’ve ever experienced, and I truly mean it. The service is consistently excellent, and the food is outstanding. For takeout dinner, I typically spend about $10–20 per person. I rate the food a perfect 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well.

I had a fantastic experience! This is the American-Chinese cuisine I grew up with in NYC, and I've really missed it since moving to the West Coast. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the food was served hot and bursting with flavor. Remarkably, our lunch was ready in under 10 minutes, even on a busy Friday. We will certainly be coming back!

*DON'T RELY ON ONLINE PRICES* The food is decent, though it's not my top choice. However, my family really enjoys it. I can't emphasize enough that the prices you see online are misleading! In reality, items typically cost 10% to 20% more than what’s listed. Personally, I think it’s a bit overpriced for the quality offered, but I recognize that expenses are higher nowadays, and their operating costs in that area are likely quite substantial. I ordered takeout, so I can't comment on the dining experience.
