"We had never been to the actual restaurant. My son always gets HRI pizza at Wrigley and loves it so we thought we'd give it a shot. It was around 3pm and we hadn't eaten lunch yet so we were starving! We got garlic bread, super fries and pizza. The food was fantastic! Way better than I ever expected any of it. The super fries were crunchy. Even with cheese sauce on them. The bacon was real bacon and crunchy. I thought the sour cream served with cheese sauce was odd (I tend to think ranch with cheese sauce, sour cream with melted shredded cheese), but it was good. The garlic bread was huge. I wish I had taken pics but I was too hungry! Some of the best pizza I've had in awhile. The service was less than stellar. Our waiter disappeared for long periods of time. They made our pizza wrong and had to redo it. Once he gave us our appetizers, he did not come back and check on us until my son's pizza was done, and he had to tell us they screwed up the other one. They did comp us one of the appetizers without us asking or anything, and I feel like the waiter was new, so I'd cut him some slack! We were just very hungry and still had a 3 hour drive home ahead of us, so it kind of sucked in the moment. Anyway, I would highly recommend. I wish there was a HRI closer to home!"

The pizza at this restaurant is of very good quality and is reasonably priced. However, the prices of beer and wine are a bit high for a pizza establishment. The server was friendly and efficient, but seemed to be managing several tables at once.

Morgan, the restaurant manager at Taurus, is the most kind, attentive, and sincere individual I have ever had the pleasure of speaking to. The hostess, Elyse, was also very accommodating and helpful. The vegetarian options, including garlic bread and salads, were delicious. The overall dining experience for dinner at Taurus was excellent.
