"Located right at the entrance of Chinatown in Boston, Great Buffet offers a fantastic hot pot experience with an extensive selection to choose from. The restaurant spans three floors and is quite spacious! We opted for the all-you-can-eat option for three people along with a bottle of wine. While not all the staff members speak English fluently, they are resourceful and find ways to assist you. I recently visited this hot pot gem, and it truly exceeded my expectations! The all-you-can-eat concept features a great variety of fresh ingredients, catering to every taste. The broth options are delicious and packed with flavor, while the service is outstanding. What really distinguishes this place is the incredible value for the quality of the dining experience. It's a must-visit for hot pot lovers looking for a delightful and affordable meal."

Great space for large groups and all you can eat buffet is $44. There are many meat and veggie options. There are also dumplings and winter melon. This restaurant has stairs to enter and is made up of two floors with stairs in between.

The food wasn't superb but the portions were pretty generous. Quite impressed by the variety of seafood they offer. Another plus is it's hours till 2AM. Would visit again if very hungry. Only thing I didn't like was that the drinks weren't included. View menu

I absolutely love the hotpot here! It's all-you-can-eat, which is a bit pricey, but if you have a big appetite, it's worth it. The sauce they provide is incredible, but it does contain nuts, so just ask for soy sauce instead, and they'll happily give it to you. They also offer oranges at the end as a palate cleanser, which is a nice touch!

My first time hot pot experience and it was amazing. I like the concept of cooking the food yourself. There is a variety to choose from and you can choose as much as you like. There are 2 different ?soups? to choose from: normal and spicy. Everythingwas serviced quickly and with a smile. I will definitely visit this place again when in Boston.

The broth is AMAZING and the quality of the food is great. I've never done hot pot before, but it was easy to start and I felt comfortable that I was never undercooking my food. It's a great place to try new things because it's all you can eat; you canorder foods you're not sure about liking at no extra cost. I tried 4 new types of mushrooms that I would probably not haveordered if they costed extra, and I thoroughly enjoyed most of them! The more things you cook in the broth, the more flavorfulthe broth becomes. View menu

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for group outings or special dinners. They offer both shared and individual hot pot meals, but it's definitely more enjoyable with a group so you can sample a wider variety of dishes. We opted for the herbal chicken soup as our broth, which was rich and flavorful, and the dipping sauces were delicious. All the ingredients were fresh and top-notch. It appears to be a popular spot for groups of 4 to 15, but with three floors of seating, we barely had to wait. I would absolutely love to return!

Me and my boyfriend stumbled across this place about two years ago we fell in love with the food . All meats, veggies and seafood are fresh every single time we go . The broth is savory I always get the spicey one . Staff is super friendly and quick to bring you everything. The prices are worth especially because it’s all you can eat . They did raise the price last year but they deserve it ! I also love that they are open till 2AM so no matter what time we are out late in Boston we know we have a place to eat Now we show our family this restaurant and go here on the regular, holidays and special occasions! If you haven’t tried definitely go NOW you will not be disappointed

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
