"I was looking for a place to eat with my kids on a Sunday, but the restaurant was closed. However, a heartwarming moment occurred when a father and his daughter approached the window. Despite being closed, the lady working there decided to open up just for the little girl and treat her to an ice cream cone. It was truly the sweetest gesture I had seen in a while. The little girl was overjoyed, and it was a great example of going above and beyond to make someone's day."

dollar charge for to go containers that cost 10 cents at most... prices have gone up from what they used to be might as well upgrade to a diner on the point haha

We hadn't been there since the new owners took over. It was excellent. We got plates. The burgers weren't overcooked and were huge. The hot sauce was delish, mac salad was yummy. Treat yourself and get one. View menu

I grew up in the area and remember Hots Point as a burger, hot dog, and ice cream joint. The new ownership has done a great job transforming it into something new while maintaining the feel of the original. The grilled chicken was excellent.

The cheeseburger hot dog plate was delicious. The sauce was fantastic with a perfect blend of tomato flavor and heat. The macaroni salad was delicious. The home fries were just okay. I didn't realize they were seasoned, so I might have chosen beans or fries instead. The service was very friendly. The outdoor dining area by the lake was relaxing.

My wife and I have stopped here a few times this past Summer. What a tremendous transformation! The previous owner was always grumpy and dragging the place down. The new Owner has remodeled the building, the outside dining area, and the menu with great success. Nice job! The staff is friendly, upbeat, and the food is delicious.
