"I will never order from this restaurant after today! I submitted my order via Seamless today and was told it would be done in 35-45 minutes. After waiting 50 minutes, I called to see where my order was. The man who answered the call told me that it was the way. They were short-staffed due to the holiday and they were extremely busy. Fine. No worries. I call back a 2nd time after waiting another 30 minutes. Still no food. I am told that the deliver guy is on his way. After waiting another 30 minutes, total wait time now has been 1 hour and 50 minutes, I walked to the restaurant. I am infuriated: I see the delivery guy outside smoking a cigarette, there are several waiters in the establishment, and only 3 tables have patrons. 3!!!! At this point, I asked for a refund because after waiting 1 hour and 50 minutes for Eggs, bacon, french toast, and an iced coffee, I no longer wanted their food. Here's the clincher: As he is giving me my refund, he asks if I would still like my food as another person is putting it into a bag. THE FOOD NEVER LEFT THE RESTAURANT!!!!! This person had the audacity to lie not one, but TWICE to me!!! I let him have it. I called him out on his lies and told him that his customer service skills are absolutely atrocious! Do yourself a favor and do NOT give this establishment your business. They do not deserve it!!!"

I like the Turkey dinner. Breakfast eggs with fresh squeezed OJ. I recently had their bagel smoked Norwegian salmon with all the trimmings. It was excellent.

The sole Greek diner in Washington Heights is fantastic. I really appreciate that the breakfast menu is available all day long. It's my favorite spot for breakfast and coffee! The prices are quite reasonable as well! View menu

There’s something about the Hudson View. My wife and I have visited twice in the past year, and we always have to come to this place at least once. It’s a staple for us. The food is great (I spoil myself with the nova benedict) and the service is perfect— they don’t hover but they’re there when you need something. Highly recommend a visit for breakfast— conveniently located off of the A!

We’ve been in the neighborhood for 26 years frequented this diner for most of that time. Initially for years it was, for lack of a better term, a dump: horrible food/service. We still went as it was our only diner option at that time. When the current management took over some time back I was overjoyed that the quality of food/ service/ cleanliness skyrocketed was maintained for some time. But after the pandemic certain portions shrank considerably, dishes seemed thrown together without care and the service was just horrible. they’re still charging for tap water! They did it during the pandemic to recoup having to buy disposable cups. It was necessary but now it’s just greed? Literally the o...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
